I'm all in for any Moon Bloodgood nudity or toplessness, even if it's only for a few, fleeting precious seconds. Finally, my greatest wish ever since I first saw her on Daybreak is gonna come true!!

Someone needs a coldshower
I will be upset if there isn't a substantial increase in the running time, McG has said a lot was taken out. But I think he said him and Conrad Buff were going to decide what to add in. If its just Moon Bloodgood in the nip it says a lot about them

yeah but why buy blu-ray movies if you're gonna watch them on a regular tv it sorta defeats the purpose no? or are you just building your library for the day you do own an HDTV?

man..where the hell do you live with prices that crazy? lol these days blu-rays tend to be 3-5 dollars more than the dvd around here. sometimes i've seen 10 but thats usually a case of a collector's edition that comes with a figurine or something but yeah....start shopping in a different city if there's that big a difference in your area.
Indiana, Maybe I was exaggerating a bit (the average difference is around $10 here), but still when the DVD is so much cheaper now, it's hard to justify spending so much extra cash on a movie seeing as I have many DVDs already.

If you cant afford an HDTV set up - thats your own fault. Go out and get a better paid job. Just because you cant afford something, it does not give you the right to just get a pirate version of the Blu-ray. I drive a c**ppy car, but my neighbour has a Porshe, does it mean I can just go steal/use it when I want because I can't afford my own??
Erm....
I don't think the poster was advocating the pirating of Blu Ray discs, he was merely saying that people who want to see the DC version but do not have Blu Ray will seek out a pirated copy on the internet, a very valid point if you ask me.
Now, I own a 46" Samsung LCD, PS3, Xbox Elite, Toshiba HD-E1 and an Oppo DV-980, which covers all bases but do I think that those less fortunate than myself shouldn't be able to enjoy the things I do? NO IT DOES NOT
I wholeheartedly support the release of multi platform games so people on Xboxes, PS3's, Wii's and even PS2's can still enjoy what I do and I believe that the same should hold true for film, in this case I believe Warner's to be cynically trying to maximise the sales of this movie at the same time as maximising sales for Blu Ray, the revenue streams generated by BD is probably the reason why they're doing it and from a business point of view I guess it makes fiscal sense however I do not support this action.
Bottom line from Warner's seems to be that if you want to see the film as intended then you have to have Blu Ray and that isn't right, at the end of the day the consumer should have the right to choose, of course the counter argument would be that true enthusiasts for this and other films would have already adopted Blu Ray and this is a sweetener for those users, who knows.
However, to condemn someone for posting a valid comment is pathetic, perhaps others out there might not be as fortunate as you and I?? or perhaps you just didn't read it right in the first place??.
Thank you.

Oh so they don't want to sell anything? They WANT people to download it.
Fine I won't buy it then.
Blu-ray sucks, always has, always will!
Would rather downgrade to VHS than downgrade to blu-ray.

Are you kidding? I love Blu-Ray. I just happen to like the artwork for the 1-Disc Artwork a lot more. I get unlimited access to Blu-Ray on Netflix so I can possibly rent every movie I want on Blu-Ray. But yes, I know a lot of people who don't like Blu-Ray because they can't afford it. I'm not one of those ppl.
I'm still waiting for "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian." And are they going to announce Harry Potter real son?

I hardly comment on here anymore, but man, only a bare bones single disc on dvd!
Are you serious!!!!! WTF!?
I want to upgrade to blu, but I don't have that kind of cash, and wont any time soon. I'm beyond pissed right now, because I am one of the few who actually LOVED this movie! I would have bought it day one, but not now.

why is it a ripoff? because you can't afford it? and who is this "everyone"? because if you can actually read which is clearly you can't you'll see people on this board that are planning to buy the blu-ray.

The issue here is force. While some here are just happy viewing and nothing more; others like myself are collectors - creating a cinema library. Not disposable. They are FORCING 'us' to move into this format. A format not needed. You didn't need new equipment to enjoy DVDs, the improvements was obvious. The step up to Blu is something that requires new gear. Don't say that it doesn't, to get the most out of it you need too. No B.S. please.
When I say force, I do mean it. Unless you don't want to buy any new movies with extras, then don't buy Blu-Ray. You're being left behind. I see this format as nothing less than greed in physical form. Lets be honest here - Blu-Ray is the studios' answer to get us to buy our movies all over again.
We all had to some extent a library of VHS movies; mine was laser discs. I didn't make the jump to DVDs until 2003. I bought tons of releases as did many others. I have nearly replaced my old collection. I'm buying far less now, just stuff of interest; not upgrading movies. The studios are feeling this matter. People have gotten their library settled. Lots of the new stuff is c**p. 'Why would I buy that?' The same situation happened to the music industry.
Their solution was to have a new format to get us all to rebuy. They invested billions of dollars into it; HD/Blu-Ray. Now they hyping the hell out of it. See your movies like never before!!! Nifty bells and whistles, buy - buy - buy! How much do you want to bet that these same studios have investments in the same equipment needed to see their movies? *cough*Sony*cough* It's in their best interest to have a single format. A format they have far more control of.
Lets not confuse hype with the pretense that they care about us. It's all about profit, nothing more. Those FAILED corporate bailouts tells the story far better than I. What they should've done was make better movies. Make us want to buy good stories and tales. Not change that game so that we have to rebuy.
If you can't see that, you've become a zealot. Me? I don't care; have to the two formats - just make sure both have the same extras. What's so hard about that? For crying out loud, if they're still releasing full screen movies why can't we have DVDs and Blu-Rays??? Oh wait... greed.

Chris, can we get this King guy thrown off here, seems to me we have some people who are trying to have a serious discussion about some serious issues then you have this guy, it's like he's about 10 years old on a wind up mission, it's not winding me up so he's failed in that regard but god, it's just so damn irritating to read this rubbish and it's cheapening the forum.

Why they didn't choose to advertise that number is puzzling. Usually these ads try to manipulate every number and statistic possible in order for it to make the film seem more important.
And I wanna see the 2 hour 40 minute cut that McG originally prepared. Probably never will though...
45 minutes of extra footage ?!

Solid artwork, although I will not be buying. I'm already buying Drag me to hell and Orphan on Blu-ray. If, and if, I have enough money I'll buy Trick 'r treat. As of now, a rental will more than suffice. Nice to see the BD will include both cuts of the film, extras, and a digital copy of the theatrical. Yes!
Was John Connor's wife in this one ?
Somebody please terminate this franchise.
