Quote: Get help! That’s a good idea when carefree friends traveling the back roads of Texas run into trouble. So they ask for assistance at an eerie, ramshackle farmhouse. That’s a bad idea – one that cranks up the whirring, ripping terror of this fear-choked re-imagining of the cult fave The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Producer Michael Bay (Transformers), director Marcus Nispel (2009’s Friday the 13th) and their filmmaking team bring edgy contemporary style to a gory frightmare. Jessica Biel leads the cast of roadtrippers who must battle the spinning steel of monstrous Leatherface. Join them for a savage game of hide and shriek.

I preferred the prequel, The Beginning. That was one downright nasty assed movie.
Great artwork (especially since it's from the 2-disc DVD version of the movie)! I'm so looking forward to this on day one! Although I still haven't seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.
Awesome news and awesome art!! I hope they give this a decent transfer and get The Beginning out soon after.
I hope it's R free if it doesn't get a UK release straight away.
I actually did like this on a lot. HATED the prequel but this got the job done. I wish they added some BD-exclusive features though but the artwork is nice.

Yup! I manage to like that cover even though I much preferred the theatrical poster over it (Leatherface's head). Theres a slight change on this cover though, the 2-Disc DVD version didnt manage to acquire the actors name title on the cover, though the BD does! :-( Just ruins the experience. You dont need to see The Beginning though, its basically this version with a few added ideas that in the end does not make up at all to its 2003 predecessor.

I just found out that the classic was already on blu ray. Looks like something I'll have to pick up. I own all of them, even the real cheesy/campy ones.
That's an ace cover, though not bothered about any Blu ray release. Maybe hunt down this 2 disc region 1 dvd
