If both the unrated and theatrical cut are included in this, I'll probably pick it up. I got the unrated version for free from CH so I won't have a problem double dipping on this one.

Pssstttttt. Wow is incredible. Anyways will pick it on HD DVD.
What the hell? I thought the first release was satisfactory. This DVD is going to have to be incredible for me to pick it up. I'm talking direct oral pleasure, here. Otherwise, I'll save my money for a DVD that'll put out.
i GUESS they are trying to cash in more money before the EVAN ALMIGHTY movie is released on DVD
very disapointing...."Wedding Crashers" was much bether.
Best comedy since Animal House.
This is not needed, shameless marketing ploy for the director's new film, "Knocked Up".
This movie was so long I thought it was going to be on 2 discs to begin with...
I love this movie, but I can't imagine why it would need another DVD release. I'll stick to the first one.
Well, if anyone watched all the bonus features on the original release they might have noticed that literally all of the features except "My Date With Stormy", "Waxing Doc" and the commentary are just deleted/extended scenes with fancy names. If this one has a more extensive behind-the-scenes feature, both cuts and a ticket to Knocked Up, I'm all over it.

i couldn't disagree more.
anyway, i f**king love this movie, but i don't know if i'd throw down for another copy of it on dvd. suppose i'll have to wait and see the features.

The only way I'd even consider double dipping on this if both cuts of the film were included. I too own the Unrated version, but having seen the original theatrical version, I found it had a lot more fluidity. It had great timing and flowed at a much better pace. To me, the unrated cut was too drawn out. The extended scenes consisting of idle chit chat simply killed the flow of the movie, at least for me. I wouldn't completely write off the Unrated cut, as it did have some hilarious scenes. But if they're going to do right by this special edition, I feel that both cuts should definitely be included.
D@MN!T, why? DOUBLEDIPPERS!!!!

That's what I'm talking about. Unless this movie immediately sucks me upon removal of the cellophane, I can't see myself picking this up.

Another unnecessary release.
The 1st release was very satisfactory. This is a dumb doubledip. This movie came out 1 year ago on DVD this is way to soon to release another version
I love this movie, very funny and great characters. I don't own this movie yet, I was going to buy the Unrated version but Wal-mart only has full screen copies, now I'm glad I waited.
I might get it. Hopefully they put that featurette on it that only the rated version had, it was missing from the Unrated for some reason and I never got to check it out.
If you already own the Unrated cut, then what's the point? This is probably just a marketing gimmick for when Evan Almighty comes out. Low blow Universal, low blow.
No sale from me. The overly long unrated version DVD has alot of extras and I am quite satisfied with it.
One of the best comedy movies from the past years; I watched it mainly for Steve Carrell, but it turned out that the movie was very good...Wedding Crashers? I still don't wanna see it, it has less moral values than Hitch...go figure...
I honestly didn't laugh once at this. I was disgusted really. Shame because I think Steve Carrell is a good actor and all, but this was just bad to me. Although Catherine Keener looked lovely in this one.
I totally agree with you! He is such a talented actor but this movie turned out to be a flat out bore for me. The premise was great and it was filled with amusing performances, but it just wasn't very funny to me. Universal, like Fox, loves to milk its customers to the bone.
THE BEST SEX COMEDY SINCE RISKY BUSINESS MAYBE EVEN BETTER!!!

Some early artwork added...
