The Hong Kong release is out today.
Artwork is often error-prone before release, so dont pay too much attention. Any extended version will surely have old cut footage reinstated, otherwise whats the point? Companies often share BD masters across countries now, so making the same extended edition available everywhere is much cheaper and easier.
I dont like it when they only release the extended versions on the Blu-Ray. Often the extended versions are bloated versions of the theatrical release and offer little extra. They should at least be putting both on the Blu-Ray.
Noticed that the Blu Slip cover says '15' and the Blu actual cover says '12' So even though it says extended it could possibly not have the BBFC required cuts for theatrical release reinstated.

I have a Blu Ray player but do you DVD owners get the feeling of being corralled into a direction you do not wish to go in?I certainly do - and whenever a company plays that transparently dirty trick, they lose out on a DVD sale because I decide not to buy the DVD and download a copy of the "Blu-ray exclusive" extended cut instead. If they don't make it available for my preferred format, I can't exactly buy a copy.
Looks like the UK BD (at least) will be uncut.
Oh Robbie, Oh Robbie Robbie Robbie, that's a painful quote on the cover.
Must buy, however, real entertaining film.

Amen brother. The first time it got me was The Sarah Connor Chronicles a stacked Blu vs a bare bones DVD. The we had Terminator Salvation, Watchmen and Drag Me To Hell. I always make a joke when I watch one of the stupid DVD trailers "thank you for buying an inferior product.."
My advice for DVD owners would be buy the Blu's with the combo packs like The A-Team, for a couple quid more so when the times comes when they're giving BD players away in a pack of Cornflakes you have a nice collection...

so you slot the cards in the box to make different covers. gimmick! may pick it up at half price.
Any news on the audio of the Blu release? It's probably DTS-HD-MA, but confirmation would be nice.
