I agree with virtually everything you said, except for Cliff Robertson (Martin Sheen was actually better) and Green Goblin. GG wasn't even in this film, it was the Lizard.

I might also add that I liked James Horner's work on the music for this movie. Finally, a hummable main theme for Spidey. 
I've listened to the soundtrack a couple of times on Slacker Radio and I might wind up buying the soundtrack CD when I pick up my copy of the Blu-ray.

This movie was just a mess. Garfield was good as Spider-Man but his Peter Parker was just totally off. Everyone sucked compared to the Raimi films except for Emma Stone, who was so much better than Kirsten Dunst. Overall this new movie was super cheesey and the Lizard totally sucked. They should have kept his wife and child in the film, so at least we would be able to sympathize with his character, but no. They tried really hard to not be the Raimi films that they screwed so much up. In the end, it failed to justify its existence.
Product differentiation KILLED this movie.
And Dennis Leary was really good in addition to Emma Stone. "Do I LOOK like the mayor of Tokyo?"

This is the Spider-Man movie I wanted 10 years ago. But it's still not as good as Spider-Man 2.
Overall, I enjoyed this new take on Spidey, and I thought the finale was one of the better finales of the franchise.
However, I did not care for Sally Field as Aunt May. Rosemary Harris, in Raimi's trilogy, was much better.

I really, really wanted to like this movie, but just couldn't help but walk away feeling disappointed when it was all over...Don't even know if I wanna spend money owning this. I wish Sony would just hand over the rights to Spidey back to Marvel, so he can join The Avengers...

Even with scenes obviously cut from the movie (maybe found in the deleted scenes, or simply plot points spared for future a sequel), it managed to be my favorite Spider-Man movie, and even more enjoyable than The Avengers.
I do find it extremely disappointing that studios keep pushing us with unwanted DVD back-ups, now even putting the worthwhile extras in non-HD format.

I loved this movie better than the Sam Raimi films and I do think this Spider-Man was better cast than Raimi's. The 3D art does look better even though I will be getting the 3 disc combo.
Really liked this movie and can't wait to own the Blu-ray Combo Pack.

Warning! This film contains the most awkward kiss in the history of modern cinema.
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were good, and that's it. The first three Spider-Man movies (yes, I'm including the reviled "Spider-Man 3" here) were just better overall. The script is full of poor foreshadowing and convenient plot devices... and really, the actors deserved better. And the mechanical webshooters weren't a good idea to use in the film -- those work better in the comics and animated series than in a film.
I hope the sequel will make the revived series worthwhile, like "Spider-Man 2" did.

Really enjoyed this one. Will pick up the Blu-Ray, though the 3D cover is the best.

Yea I agree I will also buy the blu ray dvd/combo but if the price is right I may just get the 3D even though I can see 3D images I know people who can
It says one deleted scene. I'm hoping the bluray will include more. The tv spots showed snippets of scenes nowhere to be found and also the "you want the truth parker, come and get it" line was missing. I enjoyed the second half of this film a lot more than the first half. I think its because it was just so damn familar to me. It was deja vu. It really became its own movie after the first hour or so. I did like the lizard as the villain tho and still not sure about the new spidey. I'm so used to tobey.
Charles De Lazurika (the man who did the special features for Ridley Scotts films, Alien Anthology/quadrilogy, Spider Man 2) worked on the behind the scenes work for this film, believe me the Blu ray won't be weak.
Can anyone tell me if this is going to feature the 1:78:1 aspect ratio for the film's finale? The director said he filmed it in that aspect ratio for lie-max theaters.
The movie was quite nice, but the included features seem VERY weak, so I won't put my money on this edition until a predictable future edition. I'll wait until all the stars align before putting my hard-earned cash.
I thought the movie was good enough to justify its existence, and that's about it. There were some small parts I loved, like the school brawl and some of the relationship scenes between Peter and Gwen, but the plot/themes were just all over the place.

This movie was simply OK. There was nothing "amazing" about it. When you think about it, it was pretty much 90% of what the first film was in the Sam Raimi series. The only much improved aspect of this movie was the relationship with Gwen and Peter. Otherwise, it was pretty much standard "Spider-Man vs the bad guy who transforms himself into a supervillain". And I realize the homemade web shooters are more faithful to the comic, but it really looked stupid. The organic webbing from Raimi's films was a better change.
Im going to get the Blu Ray combo but I like the 3D Blu Ray cover the best.
