This is the last Disney movie that Walt approved before his untimely death in 1966. This is a must have for me.

Think again! "Alice in Wonderland" is currently slated to be released as a Platinum Edition in 2011 (although this news comes so far in advance, it's obviously prone to change).

Wow...I haven't seen this movie in a long time. I'll definitely check this out.

The "Other" ones are just as good, and I think just as much care goes into them as the "Platinums" both video-wise and audio-wise, and in the end, that's the reason why you bought it in the first place.

Thank you. I can now buy these newer additions without worrying about yet another re-release.

Just wondering: is it worth buying the Disney Anniversary editions over the Platinum editions? For example, if I were to buy the new edition of the Aristocats or the anniversary edition of Tarzan, would I be smart in doing so, or is there a chance that these will also receive Platinum editions? I really enjoy the work that Disney seems to have put into their Platinum editions and would not want to miss out. Thanks in advance for the assistance.
Walt Disney Jazz Classic? WTH is that?
I buy all the Disney re-releases. This was never one of my favorites, it was a little slow...but its cute enough.

I used to love this movie as a kid, I wonder if it still holds up??
At least it's not the Jazzy Edition.

Actually, Oliver & Company has been out on DVD for 5 years. It came out in in 2002.
I want oliver and company that was one of my fav disney movies as a kid. i dont even think thats got a dvd relase yet has it?
I hate the banner, a lot. It should be in the Platinum Series
I thought it was pretty weak in terms of story and even animation. It's cute and all, but it doesn't have the lasting impression like "101 Dalmatians" or "The Little Mermaid" does.

This was a firm childhood fave. I may actually get this to watch with my daughter. One of Disney's best.
