Will have to check that out. I wonder where's Horton.
Amusing to see people fawning all over this surprisingly by the numbers movie.
Blu-ray artwork added
Will probably rent it as I've heard great things. I used to think Statham was really cool but not so much after CRANK. Now I'm kind of sick of him.
Anyway, the artworks are lame.
I am echoing everyone else on this, but...
... UK or poster art is much better
... no need for the digital copy
... full screen with wide screen seems like a good money saver, but why bother with FS?

Love the 2 disc artwork! Cant wait for this.
Terrible Art!
That is some horrible cover art.
i'll pass on this... im just sick of Statham's action flicks
umm i rather have the actual poster cover art for the blu-ray hope it has it.
the artworks for both versions are rubbish.take a look at how cool is the artwork for the UK disc.
Effity effing mother-greedy-effers! You people! You don't need that much money! Gosh, I hate these effing studios to put no extras on the first disc and put some on the 2nd! It's like....they want money!!!! URGHH!!
Full screen and widescreen on the same disk! Woo Hoo!!!
whoops sorry - should have said "what a waste of space".....
Widscreen and DTS instead please?

I'll get the 2-disc for the better artwork alone. Statham is better here than he has ever been!

Your telling me this movie is better then Lock, Stock, Snatch, AND Revolver? damn, I've gotta check this one out.

What is up with the Mission: Impossible title lettering? These are horrid cover arts. I hope that the Blu-Ray looks better, but I am guessing that it will just be the 2-disc with the Blu-Ray case. A shame really. This was a great film.

Expect the same for the release of "The Bank Job"Live Free or Die Hard and I Am Legend are NOT examples of this. Live Free or Die Hard contains, among other things, a 2 hour documentary on the same disc as the Digital Copy, and the single disc has several features, while I believe I Am Legend does not contain the digital copy on the disc itself at all.
I loved the film. I'll opt for the two disc while I agree the digital copy thing is worthless.
Full Screen & Widescreen
Ugh!!!
Ugh!!!
Those are horrid.
What makes the first one worse is that it's vandalized by the words FULL SCREEN. ARRGH!
I'm ecstatic that there isn't a quote from Pete Hammond though...I see he's kinda slipping off the radar.

Both of the artworks are plain and dull, nothing over exiting about them. Ehhhh its sad, for a great film.
I haven't seen this, it looks good though. What surprises me is that a Jason Statham movie is getting positive reviews from critics.

I sincerely hope that they use the poster art for the DVD... I doubt that they will, but it was fantastic:

LOVED this film. I agree that this is great and probably the best heist flick in recent years, though I greatly enjoyed "Inside Man." I would like to do some research and find out how much of this movie is true. Definitely picking it up.
I've been on a Jason Statham binge since I saw this opening weekend. He's such a stud. I just blind bought Crank, both Transporters, Revolver, and In the Name of the King. I just saw and bought The Italian Job and borrowed Cellular from a friend. He's just fun to watch.
Snatch is $4.99 this week at Best Buy, so I will get that along with Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. My best friend has been convincing me to buy those two for almost a year now anyway.
Yes, I'm definitely obsessed with this man. :-P

Loved it! Will Blu buy for sure.
I thought this was The Bank Job starring Perry Caravello and Johann Urb
Have not seen this, but heard great things about it - BD for me then!

Probably my second favorite film of the year so far. An excellent heist film; I know there is a lot as of late, but this is the best I've seen in years!
This movie is completely unrelated to the Italian Job. This is based on actual events of a UK bank robbery in the early 70's. Good flick too, highly entertaining.
I'll stick with my DVD rip I downloaded (that I still need to watch).

Why can't they do like the collector's edition of Live Free OR Die Hard = the digital copy and features are on the 2nd disc.
I agree...this 2-disc digital copy only on 2nd disc is a bunch of bulls**t. Basically, they're charging you for 2 copies of the film, one of which most of us won't ever use.
How big are these digital copy files anyway? I bet I don't have the HDD space to hold them on my measely 80-GB HDD where nearly 20-GB is full of MP3s.
Also, is this movie a part of the Italian Job/Brazillian Job series?

One of my favourite movies of the year and I will be picking up the two disc edition provided it's not just some digital copy.
possibly the best Heist movie I've seen.
This has digital copy written all over it. And this really doesn't need a 2-disc.
Blu is looking good for this one

Heard this one was good. Wished I saw that instead of 10,000 Lousy.
I wasn't too keen on it, but then I'm tired of british crime flicks. Saw it for nothing though.
Great film, very entertaining. I might be inclined to pick up the 2-disc dvd.
I wanted to like this but just couldn't get into it. It MIGHT get better on repeat viewings though. It just wasn't fun enough for my taste when it comes to these kinds of movies
I really enjoyed this movie. I want to know how much of it was actually true. I'll have to pick this one up. Big fan of Jason Statham.
Just to clarify, Lionsgate's notice said the the Blu-Ray will be $35.99 - not 39.99
Looking forward to picking this up. The film was a very pleasant surprise when I saw it last month in the theater.
Does this movie really need a 2-Disc release? I don't think so.
go jason!
very good film...possibly the best with Statham so far - enterteining.
