Warner Home Video has announced the 5th season of The Batman. The 2-disc package will be available to own from the 22nd July, and should retail at around $19.98. Each of the episodes will be presented in 1.33:1 full frame, along with English 2.0 Stereo Surround tracks. We have no word on extra material for this one yet, but we'll let you know just as soon as we hear anything. For now though, here's the artwork:

i still dont get why so many kids shows have such short seasons these days. what happened to having 20 to 30 episodes per season?

Oh Contrair Monfrair, this show had a lot of fans. It was actually pretty good. It was centered around action, rather than detective work like TAS did. Although it did have its share of detective work.
The animation was leaps ahead of TAS. With regards to at least the 3D aspects of vehicles. And this final season was unique as it leads into the next series with Batman teaming up with a JLA member each week.

It was not bad, and it kinda grows on you. It just is not good when compared to the classid Batman:TAS.
The short 'seasons' bugged me, too. It does not seem fair to call them seasons, when they seemed to come out so quick, back to back.

The Batman got a little better towards the end of its run, but it still doesn't measure up all that well to Batman: TAS......
Again , another show I love..... Cant wait to get this and see the whole hour ending, only caught the last half hour.

yea, when did first came out i was hoping for something really good, but i hated the first season, it was terrible.
Why are they stopping this show? To make a new JLA? I liked Robin and Batgirl in this series enough to not want them to go away from them in the new JLA like what happened to Lois Lane, Robin, Alfred, Batgirl, etc in the original TAS's. I am sad that this series is over. TAS was better, but this was entertaining. It is far superior to Legion of Superheroes, though.
