Warner Home Video has announced the complete first season of The Big Bang Theory which stars Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons. The 3-disc package will be available to own from the 2nd September, and should retail at around $29.98. All 17 episodes will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. As far as we know, no extra material will be included - but we'll let you know if that changes. For now though, here's our first look at the official package artwork:

This show is great. Sheldon particularly steals every scene he's in.

I tuned out of this show after the terrible pilot, but came back to it when CBS switched it around with How I Met Your Mother and to my surprise, found it hilarious. I'll be picking this set up.
I absolutely LOVE this show. This is a sure purchase for me

The first couple episodes were painful to watch but it found its stride as the season went on and became one of my favorite shows by the end of the season
it gets better? i didn't think that was possible the first few eps were that bad.
Love this show, it is very funny. Glad to see it is widescreen. Definite buy. Glad to see there will be a second season.
WHOA! I just wished the other day that this would soon be released to DVD! Sweet!
With the notable exception of The Office, this is by far the best sitcom I've seen in years...Though it's waning now, "reality TV" (a true misnomer if ever there was one) turned me off to the networks several years ago.

I watched part of the first ep, and it's awfulness reminded me of The Class. Since then, I've caught bits and pieces and it seems to have become pretty decent, so maybe I'll give it another shot.
This kind of thing sums up whats so very wrong with US sitcoms, such stereotypical characters, excruciatingly bad scripts and their churned out by the dozen every f**king year. Not for people who appreciate Curb Your Enthusiasm. I gave it a go folks but i would not buy it.

I saw a couple of episodes and I felt the "nerd" characters were right out of a Saved by the Bell episode, especially the guy who speaks in that overly stilted, analytical voice. He just sounds like a written character. I've never met a show by Chuck Lorre I didn't think was mediocre, but if you like this show, more power to ya.
