Fox Home Entertainment has announced DVD and Blu-ray releases of The Big Year which stars Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson. Each will be available to own from January 31st. As far as we know, no extra material will be included on the DVD relase of the film. The Blu-ray release will include theatrical and extended editions of the film, over 40 minutes of deleted scenes and the featurette “The Big Migration.” We've attached our first look at the Blu-ray package artwork below:

I thought it looked cute and it has the wonderful Rosamund Pike in it. I'll rent it.
Where did such a great cast go so very wrong?
Did this ever come to theaters ? I never saw a commercial for it.
This is the first film ever that I heard of that didn't have anything interesting about it. Maybe other than the cast. It didn't look funny, nor did the plot sound interesting. If the main cast had actors that nobody heard of then I doubt anyone will watch it. It's like those types of films that you will never hear someone say, "Hey, lets go watch ______."

Yes it did. It performed horribly, though. $7 million against a $41 million budget and complete with a decent comedy cast. Doesn't get much sadder than that.
Also, I'd like to watch this one. It seems cute, mindless, and enjoyable.
