Further Details

We're a little late with this one I'm afraid, but here's the details on The Bourne Identity. Firstly though, a little about the film: The film is based loosely on Robert Ludlum's novel, and tells the story of a man whose wounded body is discovered by fisherman. They slowly nurse him back to health yet he can remember nothing about how he got there and begins to try to rebuild his memory based on clues such as the Swiss bank account, the number of which, is implanted in his hip. He soon realizes that he is being hunted down and takes off on a search to find out who he is and why he is being hunted...

Firstly, as with a number of recent releases, The Bourne Identity will be available in both widescreen and pan & scan editions. Both will carry the same extras. Sound will be provided in the form of Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround tracks. Extras include an audio commentary with director Doug Liman and Matt Damon, deleted scenes including an alternate ending with optional commentary, a 'Spotlight on Location' featurette, a Moby "Extreme Ways" music video, various DVD-ROM features and of course the trailer. You will be able to own The Bourne Identity from the 21st January next year for around $26.95.
