I've not seen ultimatum yet, but i preferred identity to supremacy, the 1st film came across like a decent spy film, whereas the 2nd one struck me as just an action film

Ultimatum is the best movie of the year.
Sweet, I came close to buying the Bourne Files released this year, but I held out for this.
As long the box set is in HD I'm there
I thought "The Bourne Ultimatum" was the best one. The action sequences were really good, but a few of them that run for so long get pretty boring.
It's the boxset for me considering I don't own the first two.
Finally...been waiting forever for a proper boxed set.
I will defintly pick this one up,(the box set) im not a big Matt Damon fan, but all three films rocked..Steve Sky 67
I am not overly concerned with special features, so I'll probably only pick up the solo release of Ultimatum, since I already have the first two. Great movie - saw it twice in the theater and, unlike Spidey 3, held up really well on the second viewing.
SWEET-OLA!!...that's one purty set!
Already have Identity and Supremacy so I'll just be picking up the Ultimatum and not the Bourne collection.

Why? Except for the Assassin aspect they're entirely different films, in every way really. The link is so weak you can barely compare them.
You're going to dismiss over 40 years of cinema over 3 films which is now even over. I wish people would stop comparing them when there is barely anything to even compare.
Take "From Russia with Love" for example, an cold war excellent espionage thriller in it's own right. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Bourne films.
As I've already said the Bourne films are excellent but that doesn't immediately mean we should forget where Ludlam got much of the inspiration from or the quality of the Bond films.
Bond was kicking ass before Bourne was even in nappies and Bond will continue to do so long after Bourne is a distant movie memory.

I'm guessing it will be an "extras" disc with the extras found on the Bourne Files box set with some more featurettes thrown in. I don't see any of the films getting 2 disc releases. I would guess Greengrass and Liman aren't interested.
I just hope Greengrass records a commentary this time. Supremacy doesn't even have one.

I'm tempted to buy this, but I'm quite sure that one day we'll see 2-disc special editons for these movies. The Bourne Trilogy deserves 2-disc versions.
Am I the only one who thinks that the Bourne Files had a way cooler package than this Trilogy set?

There's a good chance that you are...
I really hope it's got DTS!

That's actually a really badass case.
I MIGHT have to consider getting it IF they retain all features from privious Bourne DVDs (including the DTS track from the original), have some ass-kicking video and audio, and maybe have as an easter egg that Jimmy Kimmel sketch where Matt Damon beats Guillermo up.

How come Universal is not going 2-disc on all three Bournes?
Nothing like a Bourne movie on DVD in time for Christmas.

Personally I only liked Identity, the director spoilt the other two for me.
Other way around for me! Personally I thought Identity had average written all over it, whereas Greengrass brought a bit of life to parts two and three. Admittedly he does go a bit over the top now and again though - the fight scene in the 3rd is rediculously hard to see whats going on!
Here's my opinion, I liked Identity. Supremacy was ok. Ultimatum was the best.

The Ultimatum was superb. I'll get the day of release. I'd rate the bourne films like so...
1. Ultimatum
2. Identity
3. Supremacy
1. Ultimatum
2. Identity
3. Supremacy
Well, good thing I didn't pick up the Bourne Files! Now I can get this set without feeling like c**p!
Depends on the price. I've been putting off buying these wonderful movies for a long time, and if the price is good on this collection I'll get it.
I'll probably just get Ulitmatum as I have the other two. Awesome set though.
This was probably THE best of the 'threequal' movies this summer, even better than Pirates 3 or Spider-Man 3. I could watch this over and over if I wanted a pure adrenaline rush.
But where's the actual artwork for 'The Bourne Ultimatum'? I could care less about the art for the three in one collection.

"Y'know, I always thought that Matt Damon was like a Streisand, but he's rocking the s**t in this one!"
I was watching 40 year old virgin the other night and I thought that quote was brilliant. I'll definately be buying Ultimate, best movie I've seen all summer.

This whole Bond vs. Bourne thing is tiresome, cooked up by studio execs, likely, to generate publicity for the Bourne series. The two series are so different, they barely even rate comparison. As CASINO ROYALE made close to $600M worldwide (more than any Bourne film made), I seriously doubt we'll be seeing 007 'step aside' any time soon.

And 007 shouldn't have to step aside. Other than sharing the same initials, the title characters from their respective franchises almost have nothing else in common. Besides, the Bourne films are done...for now. Lest Damon and Greengrass decide to do The Bourne Legacy, I don't think we will see another Bourne movie (from them, anyway, no telling what the studio would do if they push for that film to be done).
As for Daniel Craig as James Bond, I am looking forward to more 007 sequels. I hate James Bond, but Casino Royale made me a fan of that one ONLY.
I do agree with the USA Today, though, when they call Jason Bourne the "anti-Bond."

The single most OVERRATED FRANCHISE of ALL time!!!. Matt Damon is great actor but this movie is no way better the CASINO ROYALE i'm sorry
Very early artwork added for Ultimatum. Note this is sales artwork and therefore the fonts etc are larger than usual so clearly visible in magazines etc.
The cover....is a...not so good.
But i dont it's final so we can expect a better artwork.
