That said, I will probably pre-order this from Columbia House. That will complete my membership agreement.
This is easily the best blockbuster of the summer.
The revised single disk looks great compared to the R2.But I will be buying the triple disk.

They should make the next two books, "The Bourne Legacy" and "The Bourne Betrayal" in to films too.
There's my Christmas present right there!
The problem with Legacy and Betrayal is that both take place when Bourne is middle-aged, specifically in his 50s, so how can Matt Damon pull off playing Jason Bourne as an old guy?

The final artwork to this one is so much better.
I'll pick up the trilogy, even though I didn't like Bourne 2.

It doesn't mean anything that Bourne is in his 50s in Legacy & Betrayal. The last two books and films have almost nothing in common so they can just use the titles of the books but have a completely different plot.
I seriously cannot stand Pete Hammond's quotes.
This was, without question, one of the most exciting films I've seen this year. Absolutely mind-blowing. I'll defiantely get it on DVD.
Artwork added for the HD DVD release...
What's with the combo disc??
I'll still get the trilogy since I didn't get the first two

That cover art isn't much cop but at least it's better than the UK cover art which makes the film look like Die Hard.
What's with the Combo though? Universal didn't do this for the first two. Are many people even fans of the Combo idea? I was at first but the discs are so expensive.
I hear a HD box set is coming. Any further news?

I already have the first 2 so easy for me...
To all those who are buying this to have th 'complete collection' in a nice matching box.
I quote Matt Damon "If Paul Greengrass, maybe years down the road, was interested in doing another one, then I would do it, too. I don't think either of us completely put the character to bed yet."
Maybe they will have another movie totally using the name of a book, but nothing to do with the original book again, but the point is... they aint done with it yet.

Trilogy pack for me!
Final details added...
I will get The Jason Bourne Collection.
As expected the UK HD-DVD won't be a Combo making it the one to go for. It may even be cheaper for Americans to import than pay the higher Combo price.

Yes they are. Damon was simply say if not when.

According to this press release, the 4th disc of the set is just the third disc from the Bourne Files double feature set already out! So much for exclusive features. Don't know if I should get it now. I guess I will wait and see if the box is snazzy enough of a collector's item or not.
I will get the collectors edition for sure. I never bought any of the Bourne movies in the past because I knew they would release some sort of trilogy pack.
Australia gets a 2-disc Ultimate Edition!
