Wow...another c**p direct to DVD release.
Nowadays 1.5 million units sold really isn't that much...

Perhaps...but even if that's true, I won't hold against his pre-Batman career (speaking of which, is it too much to ask for an Insomnia Blu-ray announcement, Warners?)

Not interested in this straight to video drivel.

[scratches head]...huh?!
Substitute the word "Memento" for the words "The Cell" and I'd tell you that is easily the most brilliant thing I've ever heard!

I honestly think The Cell is one of the best films produced within the last decade. ONE of the best. Its so underrated. The Fall was ok, but nowhere near the greatness of The Cell. When are we getting blu-ray for the original???

Ironically, I wanted to see that film. I'll be sure to watch it.

I just literally saw The Cell 30 minutes ago and it...was...utterlly...AMAZING. It's one of those films people MUST SEE because there's no other movie like it. If you haven't seen The Cell, watch it NOW. I'm blown away by it. Definately on my top 100 list.
I fell asleep during The Cell. The last thing I remembered (past the laughably bad trailer for Snoop Dogg's "Pimp from Hell" feature, Bones) was Vincent D'Onofrio suspended on hooks...um..."having fun". Maybe I'll give the original another go, but this just smacks of DTV.
meh. one film that doesn't need a sequel.
Wow... this sounds... underwhelmingly baaaaad...
Needless to say it's only got a couple of months time until we see this in the $5 bargain bins.

The Cell was the first film I ever saw on DVD
This one I will never watch.

I never liked The Cell, so I doubt I would ever see/buy this

ah, sweet, the promise is coming to blu ray. Loved it. Oh, yeah, the Cell 2...meh.
I'd prefer they'd release the original film on Blu-Ray rather than a DTV sequel as i loved the original film as much as Roger Ebert did, but i'm willing to give this a chance. Might be watchable...
I suspect this one won't make Roger Ebert's top ten list like the last one did...
Another ridiculous DTV sequel to a sub-par film with a more-or-less nameless cast. These cheap, c**ppy films are beginning to clog up every consumer outlet. Has anyone seen the sheer number of copycat films on the movie channels lately? There was a time when this c**p was relegated to a few places like the God-awful Sci-fi channel. Now it's frickin' everywhere. I know these are tough economical times and all, but seriously - stop peddling the sh*t, Hollywood!
Pointless.
I personally liked The Cell. I'd also like to know what's up with all these sequels. But even though i'm sure it will be c**ppy, I might actually check this one out. But this seems like a sequel thats pulled out randomly. Honestly did anyone who even LIKED this film think there must be/will be/might be a sequel? anyone at all?
I will probably rent this. Tim Iacafano (who directed) was a producer/director on 24 and I enjoyed all the episodes he directed. Even though DTV, I'm glad to see him get an opportunity to direct a feature.
No Tarsem and no Eiko means TOTAL suckfest.
I pity the fool that buy this garbage.
Agree with hogaburger, what a complete waste of film/money/effort!!!
If Tarsem Singh has nothing to do with it, then neither will I.
More spin-off eh? No more creativities these days?
Why?
WTF? They got a Jennifer Lopez lookalike?
