I actually enjoy this show more than I do Family Guy and American Dad at this point. Yes, the jokes they make are completely wrong, but it can be funny to laugh at some times. Family Guy was the same way when it came out too.

The box art looks like a "Simpsons" cover. Decent show, the early "Family Guy" episodes are the best.
I found the first two episodes of this almost unwatchable... and I feel Family Guy and American Dad are going the same way it's a shame because I love the characters but they're becoming to cruel for my tastes and the constant animal cruelty is getting on my nerves. Brian and Stewie fighting is fine on some levels but the other bits leave a bitter taste...

to use a very cliche and lame line.... please, tell us how you really feel?
rape + a lebotomy
but.....the lobotomy will erase the memory of the rape, thus negating the point of having done it. lol

Cleveland Jr. is the funniest character on the whole show, IMHO. He redeems all other areas, the show is found lacking in, for me.
Yeah, it is like Family Guy, it's not funny either.

I tried to like this show, but the writers have needlessly changed Cleveland into a black version of Peter Griffin and it just doesn't work. Still, the early eps of FG were very rickety as well, so maybe this will improve. Maybe.

ratings......
its between two shows that do well so regardless of its quality it'll always do well sitting there. a real test of its popularity/demand would be moving it on its own even just temporarily to see.

I think the FG rot started way before then. Do you know if they split the writers between the three shows (including AD)? That wouldn't help and might explain why FG has become even worse of late.

The word, "moments," in it makes me think the review said something like, "The show is mediocre at best, it has delightfully outrageous moments, but overall it's a waste of time."
i honestly wouldnt be surprised if that was the case. you see it happen with movies all the time. i forget who but i recall once seeing a famous critic mentioning they did that exact thing. he gave a scathing review but they just mished mashed words to make a positive sounding blurb.
oh hollywood...you so crazy. lol

I haven't seen the show yet as I usually work Sunday nights. I rely on DVD for Family Guy and American Dad (gave up on The Simpsons years ago). I may get this, to get a taste of it if anything.

well considering all the race related humour on the show, not to mention one of the main characters being a sorta racist redneck, it sorta fits. lol
one part thats always funny though, and this applies to his time on Family Guy as well, is seeing Cleveland make racist remarks against white people when the actor voicing him is in fact white himself.

if it is, then we both need help.
i gotta say, like American Dad, this show grew on me. i didnt think much of it at first but it was between Simpsons and Family Guy so i kept watching. i wouldnt say its great but i like it much more these days and will probably buy this.
i do like the tagline "like family guy...but darker". lol

This show is truly God-awful.
Looks like a Simpsons cover.
