Just wait for the full season in November...

This is pointless as the full first season is also scheduled to be released. I guess they want to rip off them diehard fans for all they are worth.
worthless
So I guess this means people have been buying the first set, huh? I don't see why anyone does.
I think these sets are aimed at parents. Let's not forget kids are probably watching this show. Most parents probably don't want to wait until November to get a distraction for their kids, and most likely aren't even aware a full season is coming out.
I actually talked a grandmother out of buying the first set. She didn't think they were making a full season set, so I told her to hold off. She thanked me and ended up buying a LEGO set instead.
November? I thought it was coming out sooner than that? That bites...

What's even worse is that the first DVD didn't even offer the episodes in the OAR. The show is composed in 2.35:1 or 2.40:1, but aired in 1.78:1 and the DVDs are just the TV version. But they are cropped. You can actually compare the 2.4 versions to the 1.78 when you watch clips from the show on the Clone Wars movie BD/DVD.
Boo!!!! (glad I am not a fan of this show, hah)

A complete season is definitely the way to go. The question is, what is a complete series going to look like?
This is Lucas trying to squeeze a few more sovs out of the rabid ran-base. It's is merely a way of trying to get kids to use pester-power on beleagured parents.
OK, we admit that we're big Star Wars fans, but if we wanted to get Clone Wars, we'll wait until Novemeber.

What else can you expect from George Lucas?

Except this is Warner Bros.
I get so tired of everyone blaming Lucas for making money. Lucasfilm make the show/film/series, whatever. It's then up to Fox/Warner to release it. And so what if he does make millions? Well done him.
How many single releases were there of Batman TAS (Warner) before boxsets turned up? The Spectacular Spider-Man (Sony) The-X-Files, Buffy The Vampire Slayer (Fox). What about the numerous Bond re-releases? Star Trek movies, The Lord of the Rings, Hellraiser, Halloween, 1 disc, 2 disc, 3 disc digital copies and so on and so on...
If you don't like it, don't support it. This release isn't for you or me, it's an impulse purchase.
