Love to have em. but I just got the new special edition dvd's from a year ago. Picture looks pretty good on them. Maybe if they are really cheap sometime in the future.
I would ove to see a remastered Muppet Movie on Blu ray, my dvd copy is one of the worst dvd's ever released as far as picture quality.

Never saw this one. Will check it out.
This is such a unique, slightly strange, but amazing film.
It'll be interesting to see how (or if) it scrubs up on Blu-ray.
Anyone know if it's been newly restored and remastered for 1080P?

Never heard of it. Looks good, though probably wait till it's free on DirecTV.
Can't wait. I've owned this movie on every home video format save laserdisc. One of my all-time favorites.
Same here, owned every edition but the laserdisc. I was hoping for a bit "more" though,, apparently there are a lot of deleted scenes for this movie, but each release has just shown the same ones. I am disappointed that Frank Oz, over every release, has said or done nothing for this movie. That is the real kick in the crotch. I want to hear him give a commentary as much as I enjoyed Brian Frouds, I am more interested in Frank's perspective. However...I guess we will never get that.
Hello,
Is it confirmed ABC on the back cover ? (same question for Labyrinth)
Thanks
