Hmmm. This is like a hit-or-miss movie. It could be interesting. It's something no one has ever seen before. But then again, it does sound like a stupid idea. Let's make a movie where people battle light! So meh. The cover remind me of the Three Musketeers artwork. Terrible.
This definitely lives up to the critical reaction. It's absolutely dismal, joyless, and a pain to watch. No wonder Summit Entertainment allowed themselves to be bought out by Lionsgate.
i'll definitely rent this one. i wanted to see it when it came out but was low on cash and then i started reading/hearing the movie was pretty bad, so i waited. considering i actually did kinda like the movie SKYLINE (these 2 movies looked very similar to me), i may somewhat enjoy DARKEST HOUR too! lol.
I have zero desire to see this. I wont even bother to netflix it. I am bored with all these films. They just dont do much for me.
I buy this one for sure the regular blue ray edition I can't see 3d the way my eyes are .
I think this came out on xmas day and disappeared just as quickly as Santa Claus
Looked like a lame, dismal sci-fi flick. The film flopped even with the 3D upconversion, so that's pretty embarassing as well. All the more reason to shy away.
average film that didn't need a 3D upconversion- looked better in the trailers
Wish I hadn't gone to see this. Got my first speeding ticket in 19 years on the way. Wasn't worth the £80.
I'll wait for cable... who am I kidding? I don't even have cable... won't see it... minimal features as Summit always do (unless you're Twilight), movie isn't nearly as good as I would have hoped (Emmerich's Godzilla is already a few steps better, and that's not saying much).
I thought this movie looked awesome, but I heard it was terrible. I'll probably Redbox it just to see for myself.
