*sigh* I held out on the Ultimate Edition...but the special features listed give me the impression I'll be picking that up in addition to this.
Spanish subtitles please!!!
I'll go buy this one ONLY if come out with SPANISH subtitles otherwise i have to import it from Spain or Mexico when come out. Im pretty sure i 'll go with the second option because Anchorbay doesn't offer spanish subtitles in their blu -ray movies...why???
Will be interesting to see how the transfer lookes. The best of the trilogy in my opinion.
Will be buying!

you did see the last half hour so you have an idea but just be prepared for less funny and more serious. the first movie wasnt really that funny, well least not intentionally funny. lol

and once again it will not include any subtitles.
Tom, not to get too anal, but the description says " an all-new commentary with director Bruce Campbell, producer Robert Tapert, and star Bruce Campbell, "
It's funny, but I never got around to seeing this movie. I saw the second and third ones, but never this. The only part of this that I did watch was the last half an hour or so, synched with Pink Floyd's Echoes. I think that project was called "A Sync in Echoes", similar to "A Sync in Pink", which was The Dark Side of the Moon synchronised with The Wizard of Oz.
Anyway, I remember this being released on home video in so many variations. I will watch this and if I want to buy it, there's the Blu-ray now!

Already have 2 so I'll probably grab this when it is cheap. Ironically I have purchased Army of Darkness on blu-ray twice, but both times as gifts. Still don't have my own copy.
Bet they leave out the OAR 1.37:1 version... sigh.
Man, I wish I had a Blu-Ray player already. I would add this to my list.
Tempting but I'll wait to see how much better the transfer is.

I have the Ultimate Edition, so if the only new thing added is a commentary track I probably won't bother. Although the temptation of having all three films on Blu is big.
I probably have about 10 copies of this already on various formats. This makes 11.
i thought anchor bay lost the rights to this franchise? i remember reading that trilogy box set they made a few years ago was their big goodbye to the series?
anyway i do wonder if the image will look much better considering the source and everything. but if they managed to round up those 3 for a new commentary, maybe there's something worth talking about so thats cool.
personally i'm not that big a fan so i'm happy to stick to my "book of the dead" editions of Parts 1 and 2 but i'm sure the diehard will be happy that all three are now on blu.

The first of many releases of this title on Blu...
