The Dvd cover is cool. But Ill wait for the Directors Cut.
HATED IT. worst movie of '10. Had no story, and was only released theatrically because of the stamina of its actors.
This could have been so much better, total let down.

I may just blind-buy this.

DVD copies that come with the Blu-ray isn't trying to keep DVD alive. It's another way to get consumers to switch over.
At this point in the game, it would be naive to say that you will never switch over. That is unless you never plan on buying a new movie. Blu-ray is taking over. I was just at Best Buy. The DVD section is getting smaller and the Blu-ray section is getting that much bigger.
DVD consumers can buy The Expendables on Blu-ray, watch the DVD included, and won't need to upgrade when they eventually get Blu-ray players. That's for the consumer with foresight.
No one is trying to keep DVD alive.

Inception is December 6th!
Thanks and hopefully that's the same release date as "Shrek Forever After." I actually would rather get that one.
WTF??!?! times 100. You think "Inception" is better than "Shrek Forever After"? I have only seen "Inception" but I can guarantee it's a thousand times better. Even if you found "Inception" overrated, you at least have to appreciate the dialogue, the script, the performances, the cinematography, the direction, the action. All truly amazing. Now if you said that you liked "Toy Story 3" better than "Inception", I could see why even though I love "Inception" more than "Toy Story 3" (but both films are fantastic). If they come out with a limited collector's edition on Blu-ray and it sells for less than 50 dollars (brick and motar stores), you can count me in!

I agree with BoKnows about the mancard thing. This really was the ultimate guy movie of the year. And, Stallone has never looked better. They're all pumped and read to go. Love this film. Love the cover too, which is becoming a rarity nowadays as nobody puts thought into the art anymore.
This was the 2nd best movie of year behind "Machete". Any guy that says they didn't like this needs to hand in their mancard.
Day 1 buy for me. will get the DC when that arrives too!
I will definitely wait for the Director's Cut Stallone has already confirmed is coming around.

Why is it that Mickey Rouke is the only one smiling in this pic and what's up with the horrible airbrush of Bruce..............
Bouncy X wrote: well look at that, they put Willis on the poster again. he was also listed and shown on the poster they had at my theater. i dont get why they put him but not Schwarzenegger, they both share the same amount of screentime and of course are in the same one and only scene. how strange.
oh and look at that, another case where the blu-ray buyer is forced to get the dvd copy while the dvd buyer has the choice. very strange.
I think it may have something to do with the fact that he's still governor, maybe? Dunno.
Personally, I didn't enjoy this movie as much as I hoped I would - I mean, how can you have so many action stars in one movie and screw it up? It had the recipe for "AWESOME" written all over it, but it was just lacking. I wonder if the director's cut is going to be any better. Hopefully, they cut out Tool's exposition speech... that was absolute dreck.
And to another previous poster - thanks for the heads-up on "Inception"!!

Rubbish, turned out to be a poor mans A-Team
I dunno about this one. I mean the action was ok but it was lacking. I wonder though what ever happened with brittany murphy supposed to be in this. I heard the character was only in the script while some say she actually filmed scenes
Wow did this get bad reviews by the critics. If I can remember, the score is somewhere between 40 and 50%. Okay so it's not that bad but for a film with all this greatest action heroes, it should be AMAZING not just OK. I really hope I'm wrong though. I will rent.
Missed it in the theater. Must-have blind buy....
I cant wait to get the bluray if hopefully i get ps3 for my bday! if i dont ill still get the dvd no doubt about it! i wanna remember this for xmas! lol!
Getting this!
Funniest movie of the summer..

Well no. I just wonder why WB hasn't announced Inception for the US, where the UK had theirs announced already. It should even be around the same date.
