After years of DVD releases, double-dips, and sometimes triple-dips, I have grown weary of the whole ordeal in this age of Blu-ray. I have the original BD release. I don't need to double-dip.

Yep blu-ray only. There is a solution though. Buy a blu-ray player. Problem solved
I don't have the money for a Blu Ray player, and I also don't personally own an HDTV.

So? Get a job, buy a HDTV. I did it.

Man, I knew Stallone was gonna pull that kinda $@!% with this film. But like a dummy, I still got the first release anyway. Guess I'll bite on this one too...

well.. he is the director and this is the director's cut. so somewhat understandable.

One of the worst films I've ever seen. We rented this and we were all expecting it to be bad but no way near as bad as this. Think we ended up turning it off to be honest. Stay away!

weird that they didnt wait for the sequel's theatrical release to bring this out. and why include the documentary thats on the original release? i've never seen an individual extended cut release port over stuff.
i'm surprised its only 11mins longer as well. the way stallone spoke about this i figured it would have a good 30mins or more added in.
