One of the greats from a dismal movie going 2010. I just saw this last Saturday & I thought it was fantastic. Bale & Leo will get the Oscars for their respective roles.
"I'm Charlene. We just met. We're together. Do we need to do this again?....Hi. I'm Charlene". LOL. i freaking LOVE that line from this awesome movie!! this movie i wasn't expecting to love as much as i do but it's fantastic. i'm from Boston and it's always fun to watch movies about/filmed in Boston. everyone in this had spot on Boston accents too! lol.
One of the best movies of 2010. SO GLAD they stuck with the poster art for the cover.
The whole movie I kept thinking "Is Bale going a little over the top?" then I saw the real guy in the credit sequence and I was blown away by how accurate Bale was.
bale is amazing in this. i cannot fathom anyone else winning best supporting. russell did a good job. i'm really worried that he's going to scratch walhberg's back when it comes to uncharted.
This one looked good enough for my family to go see. We'll probably rent that one.
I loved this movie. I went in with pretty low expectations because the trailer was awful. Should've trusted David O. Russell though.
This was good, not great, in my opinion. Bale is very good in this, but the star of the show is really Melissa Leo, she was brilliant in this, her performance is really the main thing that kept this film from being just mediocrity.
My 3rd favorite film of the year, day one buy
Paramount usually don't do the bluray combo packs do they? I know star trek had a digital copy but it's rare and to include a DVD as well? Isn't true grit paramount? Something to look forward to.
Love the cover! Simple. Missed it in theaters, but I might pick it up since everyone is saying this is one of the best movies of the year and since it was nominated for Best Picture...
I like the elegant simplicity of the cover, but they should drop the blurb. Start putting those on the shrinkwrap or something. But regardless, I'll be buying it.
Who does Melissa Leo have to screw to get her name on the cover?
I actually didn't like it much. It's too much of a cartoon.
One of my favorites from last year, will definitely pick up the Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack.
Sweet cover art on these. I did enjoy this but it's not the classic critics have labeled it as, it's a tad too predictable and made me laugh a few times but the fight scenes didn't do much for me. I won't be buying
