I actually thought this movie was better than everybody else thought. Sure the acting and story are thrown out the window, but sometimes you just have to leave your brain at the door and kill a few hours. I don't mind thinking in films, but every film doesn't have to be thought-provoking or Oscar caliber. I wanted to see gruesome deaths and be entertained and that's what I got. I'm definitely picking this up on day one.

Very messy artwork. Very rushed film. Yeah, I'm still gonna pick it up, but still. Just wanted to say it won't be worth the dollars so much. Or maybe I'll skip out on this one and wait for the ultimate Final Destination quadrilogy set..
i didn't like the film, thought it was too short, was rushed, the worst of the 4 in my opinion
This movie was so generic it hurt.
It was ok, they should've used the regular theatrical poster though with the cast standing.
There's no plot here. It's all about the killings. And how gruesome they are, and how much blood they shed. The scenes that hurt are the ones where no-one dies, and the scenes that can even be called exciting are the ones where people die. On that note, most the deaths weren't even fun.
I'm just frustrated, cause I'm a big, big fan of the first three. I love them. And I'm sorry to say, but this was just plain, bad, c**p. The first three were of those "so bad, it's good" variety, but this one just falls under the "so bad, it's so bad" category.

Like the cover. So, wonder if it'll be a 2-disk edition like My Bloody Valentine?

Actually on Wikipedia, it says that they are releasing the quadrilogy box set of all Final Destination films, including the modern one, at the same time as they are releasing The final destination 3-D.

Terrible artwork. Way too cluttered. And why did they feel the need to add "IN 3-D" to the title?
Terrible film, but it was fun to watch especially in 3-D (and it did have a sense of humor like the second one, which Ellis directed too). Hands down it was more fun than the truly awful "Halloween 2." There's just no excuse for a horror movie like that to suck so badly and c**p on the franchise too.
What happened to the December 20th release they told us back in July?
However, I wont be buying it. Unneeded and stupid sequel. Horrible deaths.

That's for the UK. December 21st, to be correct.
I agree with what you said about the film, however I'll still be buying it, if only to complete my collection.

Oh OK, gotcha. I'll probably buy the box set, if they release another with this one which I'm sure they will.

Why bother add the "3D" in there, very messy as said before. I would rather the UK/Europe poster with "Final Destination 4" on it. If they wanted the "3D" in there, they should have left it at it's former name, "Final Destination 4: Death Trip 3D". I hate how they slapped "the" on there, I mean come on this one did better then all 3 previous films, this won't be "the" last one in the series. I didn't mind this, although this movie never needed any sequels IMO.
Awful movie. Very cheesy. Its as if they didnt take time to write a story, they just focused on teen deaths...
The best way to describe this movie is "Dumb, but fun." Will pick up because of the 3D

If you Really want to buy all of the FD movies in one shot, believe me, this franchise won't stop at #4. It will keep going & going just like that SAW. Probably you should estimate how many sequels of this will appear during your lifetime.

Fun movie but I'm not sure if I'll get it right now. I think I'll wait when it's pretty cheap on blu-ray.
Ugh, I hate when studios give special features exclusively to Blu-Ray. I mean, a few featurettes is fine, but leaving the standard DVD practically bare-bones and the Blu-Ray chock-full of features is ridiculous.
Nice, New Line is now straying away from including a useless foolscreen option on the same disc (I expected this pic to have a similar release like last year's "Journey to the Center of the Earth" -- 3-D widescreen version on one side and both foolscreen and widescreen 2-D versions on the other). Perhaps Warners is now going widescreen only on their 2010 release schedule? One can only hope they've seen the light like Universal and Paramount did.
As an FD fan, I hoped for more special features. I mean, parts 2 and 3 had a lot of features. This movie has like on featurette and that's it. I thought it was the worst of the 4 and the death scenes were beyond lame, some even borrowed from the previous films! This is one of the most disappointing films of the year.
DVD users once again getting short changed. I was a bit worried when I clicked the page link. Yup.
I hate this c**p.

WOHA! A dvd that doesn't have ONE quotation or remark or any kind?! AWESOME!...not like I give a sh** about the movie, just thought that was cool.
Since when is it 'neat' to sit back and watch people get killed? That, in and of itself is entertainment? Most of the characters (or more appropriately, caricatures) are completely unlikeable or incredibly stupid as they both ignore the MASSIVE warnings or just stand there like potted palms while random stuff wraps itself around their necks.
Idiocracy is the new reality!

You know? They add 3-D on this DVD/Blu-Ray, but they don't add in a 3-D version for "Up" and "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs." They better add 3-D with the first two "Toy Story" films - if not, I will flip.
Even though the "Toy Story" movies were originally produced in stereoscopic 3-D, the filmmakers didn't intend them to be 3-D experiences. That's why, aside from the new "Toy Story 3" trailer, the 3-D double-feature release wasn't needed.
I'll buy it for 3D
Hopefully, the additional scenes are plentiful as that is the reason I'm interested. The movie felt way too rushed.
I thought this was pretty fun in 3D. Glad they stuck with the poster art.
