You cannot use the polarised 3D glasses with LCD TVs....

I notice they have a end date for the digital copy.....

Still will get this as the others have been good beer night movies...

Not sure why people are picking it up for 3D. The technology simply doesn't work very well in a home cinema environment at the moment. Great in a properly equipped cinema, but that's where it'll stay for me for the time being.

So, based on the add, they're back to red/blue cardboard 3-D glasses?

Back cover added for the Blu-ray release - no idea why they've released that before the front cover!

I fail to understand how this can't have a commentary. The original movie's dvd had THREE commentaries.

The reason why people get enjoyment from people getting killed is because we know it isn't real. It's just computer-generated technical stuff. Since we know it's all crazy and unrealistic, that's why it's fun. It sounds weird now, but you'll know what I mean.

Why do you care about the 3-D being unattached to Up. There was nothing really gimmicky or 3-D about it. At least, The final destination had a lot of 3-D. It would be weird to watch the film in 2-D, when literally every minute, it's stuff coming out at you. With Ice Age 3, Fox is too cheap to attach the 3-D with the film. They have sunk so low because they are even making the 3-D companies pay the 3-D charges, which is like $15 million! With Toy story, they are not going to make it in 3-D. That was just a marketing ploy to rekindle the two iconic films. Moreover, there was nothing too 3-D about those either.

I'm glad I am not the only person who noticed this! I hate all these stupid quotes on dvd art anymore, it's annoying. When I think of a movie, I like to think of what *I* thought of the movie, I couldn't give a sh*t what some random other person said about it! It's an eyesore.

Hopefully, the additional scenes are plentiful as that is the reason I'm interested. The movie felt way too rushed.

Even though the "Toy Story" movies were originally produced in stereoscopic 3-D, the filmmakers didn't intend them to be 3-D experiences. That's why, aside from the new "Toy Story 3" trailer, the 3-D double-feature release wasn't needed.

Nice, New Line is now straying away from including a useless foolscreen option on the same disc (I expected this pic to have a similar release like last year's "Journey to the Center of the Earth" -- 3-D widescreen version on one side and both foolscreen and widescreen 2-D versions on the other). Perhaps Warners is now going widescreen only on their 2010 release schedule? One can only hope they've seen the light like Universal and Paramount did.

Fun movie but I'm not sure if I'll get it right now.  I think I'll wait when it's pretty cheap on blu-ray.

If you Really want to buy all of the FD movies in one shot, believe me, this franchise won't stop at #4. It will keep going & going just like that SAW. Probably you should estimate how many sequels of this will appear during your lifetime.  

Awful movie.  Very cheesy.  Its as if they didnt take time to write a story, they just focused on teen deaths...

I agree with what you said about the film, however I'll still be buying it, if only to complete my collection.
Oh OK, gotcha. I'll probably buy the box set, if they release another with this one which I'm sure they will.

It was ok, they should've used the regular theatrical poster though with the cast standing.

I actually thought this movie was better than everybody else thought. Sure the acting and story are thrown out the window, but sometimes you just have to leave your brain at the door and kill a few hours. I don't mind thinking in films, but every film doesn't have to be thought-provoking or Oscar caliber. I wanted to see gruesome deaths and be entertained and that's what I got. I'm definitely picking this up on day one.
