Paramount Home Entertainment has announced a Blu-ray release of The Firm which stars Tom Cruise, Jeanne Tripplehorn, and Gene Hackman. The disc will be available to own from the 15th September. The film itself will be presented in widescreen, along with a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack. As far as we know, the only extra material will be the teaser and theatrical trailers.

The Relic needs a Blu-ray release ASAP! the DVD release is horrendous, PQ is the worst I've seen from any Paramount DVD title.

Good solid film getting that VIP treatment only Paramount know how to give. I've seen the trailer a hundred times but haven't seen the teaser in ages. Hope it's as good as I remember it.
Good flick. Could use a BD upgrade. Just bought the DVD from a folding rental place around Christmas though. Oh well. WIll be waiting since I've just seen it
Have this on dvd, don't see any real reason to upgrade from the extras.
But its certainly a great film, another top film from the Cruiser. Top notch ensemble cast too. And I love the beach scene.
