Damn, 24 discs? thats ALMOST as crazy as my 29 disc Godzilla Final Box set!

when u break it down, it's 5 bucks a disk.. not all that expensive. and you know Amazon will probably sell it for 99 bucks.

you'll pay between 30 and 40 dollars for each individual season...and here's all of em for much less. to really put it into perspective, the Friends collection is well over 200$ and it only has 4 extra seasons.
i mean wow...i know im canadian and prices are different here but man...lol
anyway i dont even like the show enough to wanna buy it but kudos to the WB for the price and the cool packaging.

this is a great deal, its a savings of like over $40 total to buying the seasons by themselves

What a bargain of a price!!! Over here in UK they sell for around $80 per season! I cannot wait to purchase this, and i'm glad I only purchased season one individually.
Does this also include the flintstones shows that aired in the 80's on Saturday mornings on NBC?
I wish they would do this for every tv show they put on DVD--just release the entire series and sell it for one lump sum instead of releasing a few seasons and NEVER releasing the rest....GOSH that makes me so mad. I have three seasons of Boy Meets World and they aren't releasing anymore....how annoying!!

Who pays full retail on DVDs? You need to stop that. $130 is already a great price for six seasons. Deep Discount will probbaly have it for around $90.
Not a bad price. Get Smart is 200. The eight movie After Dark boxed set cost me 99 dollars. Still, I'll consider buying it.

This is awesome.. I love the Flintstones and everything Hanna Barbara did.. I would like to see them do something similar with the Jetsons and Scooby Doo..
I think the price is OK if you take it into perspective. But I think the problem is most people don't think about the long haul they think right away about dropping $130. Not $30 here and then two months later another $30 and so on.

I have loved this series ever since I was a kid and I cannot wait to finally grab this set. I love the packaging but I kind of wished that they had included the various specials from the show as well. Either way for that price (which will defintely be lower at best buy etc.) it is totally worth it!

Why do people constantly moan about the announced price? You should know by now that THEY NEVER EVER SELL FOR THAT PRICE and if you pay the RRP/SRP for something then you're a berk.
Seems the content producers 'want' blu-ray, but not at the expense of a lost sale. I would MUCH rather have a 6 disc HD set than 24 discs on DVD.

The price is actually pretty good, considering that many of us have paid HBO $40 for 13 episodes of Sopranos and Deadwood....this is a must buy, and I love what the ad says:
