Tartan Video has announced the release of The Fukasaku Collection for the 23rd of June, priced at around £19.99. The set will include the films Blackmail is My Life, Black Rose Mansion and If You Were Young, each presented in their original Academy ratios (4:3) with accompanying Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo and 5.1 audio. The only confirmed bonus material is a series of trailers. Here's the artwork.

I wish someone would release Battle Royale on DVD in the USA. Maybe this collection will be released by Tartan USA.

I'd really like to see a decent release of Virus. I've only seen a super-dodgy public domain release of the shortened western version.
