Isn't she a 'proper' porn star?

Yeah, Steven Soderbergh specifically chose her to be the lead in this movie because of her background in porn. Wanted to see this when it came out, but just couldn't get around to the arthouse theater fast enough before it was gone....
See it with someone you f**k? When did that start being the tagline?

she does things that would make porn stars blush or be grossed out so she might need her own title.

That's always been the tagline. And it's not f**k, it's ****, meaning you can supply your own word ("love" being the other obvious choice). I always thought it was a great tagline.
My second favorite film of the year so far, right behind Watchmen, so I'll definitely be getting this.

That's kind of cool actually. We didn't get the film here so I didn't really see it advertised.

Except "love" is not a word that would be censored on a DVD cover. It's f**k.

Maybe it's supposed to be ambiguous, not censored. Censoring is when Wal-mart and billboards made Kevin Smith remove "Make a Porno" from his most recent movie title. "See it with someone you ****" is ambiguous, thus an excellent tag line for the reader to fill in the blank, implying the f-word due to the nature of the film, but also possibly having another meaning. Duh.

OH please. She's a pornstar not an actress, it's most obvious they're going for the "oh so clever" angle of it being "f*ck".

Bingo. Just because it's using the asterisks doesn't necessarily mean it has to be covering a profane word. Obviously that's what it's supposed to be a play on, but the ambiguity is there too.

I'll check it out
Sasha Grey is hot!
I read a Rolling Stone article about Sasha Grey. It was very... boring. She doesn't seem that interesting or attractive. I'm not saying she isn't those things to other people, because she obviously is, but she isn't to me. Porn actors and actresses should stick to what they are good at, just like singers should. The only porn actor I have liked in a regular film is Robert Kerman.
Interested in seeing it. The track record for porn stars in mainstream cinema isn't good, to say the least though. The upcoming Piranha 3D has a porn star in it as well.
If you see the movie, you'll understand the ambiguity of the asterisks. I think it's a perfect tagline.
And porn stars in movies? Ron Jeremy's done well for himself... [even though he plays the same slimeball character in everything he's done outside (and some would argue inside as well) the porn business]

First off the movie is BEAUTIFULLY shot, framed, lit etc. Kudos goes out to the Director of Photography! Worth noting is that this movie was shot using the New Red Cameras. I would get this movie on Blu-ray just for that reason alone, but maybe when it's at a lower price. Furthermore, the dialogue, while very loose and broad, is still interesting to listen to. My only problem was that the editing of scenes were too unrelated and didn't have a consistent flow. An un-chronological timeline works if the scenes after the other flow in terms of subject matter from the scene before (or after) to enhance what just happened. Not the same for this movie, scenes are all over the place and the audience is too busy thinking where this scene fits in the timeline than actually watching the movie. A story IS there, believe me, but I think if the movie was edited chronologically the story would've been MUCH stronger and would've made MORE of an impact on Christine/Chelsea character development.
If you haven't seen the trailer go watch it. It'll tease the heck out of you and it has an AWESOME drum track! WORTH A LOOK.

I'm going to blind buy this one. I really wanted to see it, but it wasn't playing anywhere near me.
It's supposed to be love with that double meaning that makes people automatically assume it means f*ck. It is about a call girl who I think falls in love with a client or something. So both meanings apply. I don't know. I might check it out.
I think the problem really occurs when the girlfriend becomes....the wife!
