It's supposed to be love with that double meaning that makes people automatically assume it means f*ck. It is about a call girl who I think falls in love with a client or something. So both meanings apply. I don't know. I might check it out.

First off the movie is BEAUTIFULLY shot, framed, lit etc. Kudos goes out to the Director of Photography! Worth noting is that this movie was shot using the New Red Cameras. I would get this movie on Blu-ray just for that reason alone, but maybe when it's at a lower price. Furthermore, the dialogue, while very loose and broad, is still interesting to listen to. My only problem was that the editing of scenes were too unrelated and didn't have a consistent flow. An un-chronological timeline works if the scenes after the other flow in terms of subject matter from the scene before (or after) to enhance what just happened. Not the same for this movie, scenes are all over the place and the audience is too busy thinking where this scene fits in the timeline than actually watching the movie. A story IS there, believe me, but I think if the movie was edited chronologically the story would've been MUCH stronger and would've made MORE of an impact on Christine/Chelsea character development.

If you haven't seen the trailer go watch it. It'll tease the heck out of you and it has an AWESOME drum track! WORTH A LOOK.

Interested in seeing it. The track record for porn stars in mainstream cinema isn't good, to say the least though. The upcoming Piranha 3D has a porn star in it as well.

Bingo.  Just because it's using the asterisks doesn't necessarily mean it has to be covering a profane word.  Obviously that's what it's supposed to be a play on, but the ambiguity is there too.

That's always been the tagline.  And it's not f**k, it's ****, meaning you can supply your own word ("love" being the other obvious choice).  I always thought it was a great tagline.

"See it with someone you ****" is ambiguous, thus an excellent tag line for the reader to fill in the blank, implying the f-word due to the nature of the film, but also possibly having another meaning. Duh.

Yeah, Steven Soderbergh specifically chose her to be the lead in this movie because of her background in porn.  Wanted to see this when it came out, but just couldn't get around to the arthouse theater fast enough before it was gone....
