I've been thinking about getting the UK release. I don't need all that extra stuff.
2 words "Collector's Item"!
Its just like the re-release of the two Ghostbusters films. Why buy this? For a board game and some collectible (bulls**t) story prints and features that come with the regular DVD that goes for cents on Amazon? Quality over quantity.
I want the BR, but will wait for the BR only release in the near future.
sweet but i already own the goonies
"I know they did a video commentary as well but it would be nice to hear from Robert Davi and Sloth."
LMAO! Kinda hard to do that when the actor that played Sloth died in the late 80's.

Isn't it about time we had a retro documentory. I mean, if warner can get them all together for a magazine article and a commentary, then surely they can FILM the bloody thing. I know they did a video commentary as well but it would be nice to hear from Robert Davi and Sloth.
Classic film and I already own the DVD. I don't need all this extra pointless bs.
I might get this..not sure yet..too many things all coming out at once again ...
To HELL with this 25th Anniversary Collector’s Edition! It´s the contents that counts...
The cover of the box looks like a really bad photoshop job. The case should've had the art from the dvd, with the actual discs held in a regular case with a cover that looks like the map. Or even better.....the big box that holds everything should've been shaped like a pirate chest.
Nope.
I agree with you chaps, but isn't this supposed to be a brand new transfer? If it is, then I'm afraid I'll be buying all this stupid c**p just for that.
Silly Warner. I've had The Goonies on Blu-ray for about a year now and paid the much lighter sum of around $20 (shipping included) to Amazon UK for the privilege of already owning the same disc and not having to pay for a bunch of dust collecting c**p in the process.
So,it's the DVD that's been out for years, just packaged with a bunch of random garbage they pulled out of a dark corner? Sorry, no sale.
