Quote: Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is a slacker by day, party animal by night... until he finds a serious career that’s seriously cool: crime-fighting action hero. As the Green Hornet, he teams up with gadget wiz and martial arts master Kato (Jay Chou) to take down LA's underworld. Even Britt’s assistant Lenore (Cameron Diaz), doesn't suspect this mismatched pair is the masked duo busting the city's toughest thugs led by Chudnofsky (Academy Award® winner Christoph Waltz, 2010, Supporting Actor, Inglourious Basterds). With style, swagger and an arsenal of awesome gear, the Green Hornet and Kato are doing justice their way, making every mission a mix of over-the-top action and outrageous comedy. The movie was decent, but for some odd reason, they saved the best '3D' for the credits sequence.

The left muzzle flash on the 3D cover art looks terrible. Looks like someone cut a star shape out of an explosion on MS Paint.
Was looking forward to seeing this but the incredibly mediocre reviews and bad word of mouth from friends turned me off to a theatrical viewing. I'll give it a rent.

"Amazing 3D"? Really, they're gonna go with that?
completely forgot about this movie being in the theaters, id check this out on netflix perhaps
lol - Everything about these photoshopped covers from them totally not standing in front of a car to the fire not being spewed out of the machine guns is laughable.
Incredibly lame artwork, decent movie. Will pick it up. P.S. Seth Rogen did not direct the film, Michel Gondry did.

that's an uncredited cameo by "explody star" from dora the explorer.

While the critics hated it, I highly enjoyed this movie. The characters were likable enough, the action was just badass, and the movie was a whole lot of fun. Also, for it being converted, the 3D wasn't too shabby. Then again I saw it in IMAX 3D, so I guess maybe that improved things. Will pick up the Blu-ray 3D if I have some extra dough.
Hard to pin point where this went wrong but it really missed the mark. I like rogen but this was a dud. It didn't succeed as comedy or action and was watered down. Luckily I saw it in 2d though.
I'm sure the movie was directed by Michel Gondry and not Seth Rogen!
Ever since Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, I have been catching up with all of Gondry's movies, but I missed this one. I will probably rent this and decide.

Haha, that's exactly what I thought.

More like amazing 3d... Is when u film it that way.

Hideous covers.
I give this movie a C+.
It had its moments, but they were few and far between.

Thought it was c**p. Can't be arsed to critique it any more carefully than that.
The artwork is OK, I guess, but I prefer the artwork for the Swedish Blu-ray steelbook:

WTH only a 3D Blu-Ray Combo Pack and not a regular Blu-Ray Combo Pack. Anyway, great movie, don't know if I need it right away. Might get a used copy or so.
Horrible movie. I so wanted this to be even a little bit good, seeing as I'm a big fan of the tv show, but this was just awful. There's no way they should have had Seth Rogan anywhere near this movie. I can't think of a worse actor. Even Hulk Hogan, one of the most worthless "people" that I can think of is entertaining some of the time. But Seth Rogan is one of those comedic actors that everyone says is just so cool and funny but really isn't. If you try hard to be funny or cool, you automatically fail. Funny and cool is something that some people just have and Seth Rogan doesn't. Nothing he has ever done has ever been good. The only good thing about the movie was the guy they got to play Bruce Lee's part. He's great.

While I liked the movie, I agree with you about Rogen. I found him funny to some extent, but you can tell he's trying too hard. That was one of the movie's flaws.

They shouldn't have made the movie so comedic. It would've been awesome had they gone a lot darker. Kato was great, but they should've gotten someone like Sam Worthington or Thomas Jane for the Hornet.

While Seth Rogen isn't so great, Sam Worthington would've been boring as hell.

True, but the Green Hornet is not supposed to be comedic. He's supposed to be rough and manly like his great-uncle, the Lone Ranger. Seth Rogen is neither rough or manly. Totally wrong for the role.
