Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a Blu-ray release of The Grudge which stars Sarah Michelle Gellar. The disc will be available to own from the 12th May for $28.95. As well as both theatrical and unrated versions of the film, the disc will also include a commentary with Sam Raimi, Ted Raimi, Sarah Michelle Gellar & More, a second commentary with Director Takashi Shimizu, Producer Taka Ichise and Actress Takako Fuji, deleted scenes with optional commentary, featurettes ("Myth of the Ju-On", "Production Designer's Notebook: The Sketches of Iwao Saito", "Sights and Sounds: The Storyboard Art of Takashi Shimizu", "Under the Skin Featurette - A Medical Explanation of Fear Response In Film"), and 2 short films.
