Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($29.95) and Blu-ray ($39.99) releases of The Impossible for April 23rd. Extras will include an audio commentary with director J.A. Bayona, writer Sergio G. Sánchez and producer Belén Atienza and María Belón, 2 featurettes ("Casting The Impossible", "Realizing The Impossible"), deleted scenes, and a digital copy of the film.

Probably the best disaster film of all time. Naomi Watts and newcomer Tom Holland gave two of the best performances of 2012.

One of the best films of 2012.
Naomi Watts and Tom Holland were transcendent. Holland deserved a best actor nominations. The effects were terrifying and unforgettable
