Quote: The most celebrated actress of our time stars as the most powerful woman of her time. Oscar®-winning Meryl Streep, the most nominated performer in Academy Award® history, delivers the definitive portrayal of Margaret Thatcher, the enigmatic, highly controversial figure who became the first and only female Prime Minister of England. Much more than a biographical epic, THE IRON LADY is also the surprisingly intimate journey of a "common" grocer's daughter whose social ambition and steel will -- along with the love of her husband and confidant, Denis (Academy Award® winner Jim Broadbent) -- propelled her to unprecedented power in a world dominated by men.

Can't wait to see it! Great cover! CONGRATS ON MERYL STREEP FOR HER WIN!
If Faith Brown was in this movie, it would've been in 3D!
boooooooooooooooooooooring , i fell a sleep waiting for this nonsense to end , it promised much and deivered nothing. My views about thatcher have not changed , but my views of streep sure have , pay her what she wants and she'll do any role including dross like this.
This movie was bad; plain and simple. Another fine impersonation from Streep doesn't change that.
We'll watch it when the evil old b1tch croaks and drink a bottle of Champagne whilst doing so - shouldn't be long now...

Streep delivered a Spitting Image-level performance. A triumph? It was Faith Brown without the gags. The world's gone mad.
Very interested in the film, despite what others say. Thatcher was a smart, daring woman and Streep seems like she could bring the character to life.
It should come with a warning: "Not suitable for miners"

Nice cover art. I didn't see this though. Heard the movie itself was lame, and Streep was the only good thing about it.
ugly cover art
Great performance, great makeup, c * * p movie. Phyllida Lloyd shouldn't be allowed behind a camera even again.
Let me re-quote Richard Corllis:
"Meryl Streep's Performance is a Triumph! However, An Atrocious of a Movie"
