Quote: Blockbuster action director Michael Bay delivers a striking look at a strange world of the future in this sci-fi action drama. Midway through the 21st century, Lincoln Six Echo (Ewan McGregor) lives in a confined indoor community after ongoing abuse of the Earth has rendered most of the planet uninhabitable. One of the only places in the outside world still capable of sustaining life is an idyllic island where citizens are chosen to live through a lottery. Or at least that's what Lincoln and his fellow citizens are taught to believe; the truth is that Lincoln, like everyone he knows, is actually a clone who is kept under wraps to provide needed organs when the person who supplied his or her DNA falls ill. When he becomes aware that his existence is a fraud, Lincoln escapes to the outside world with a fellow clone, Jordan Two Delta (Scarlett Johansson), though the powers that be are determined to see that no one gets away alive. The Island also stars Steve Buscemi, Djimon Hounsou, Michael Clarke Duncan, and Sean Bean.

LOL nice! I really it enjoyed though I'll agree there was a lot of product placement, but that also helped ground it a bit more to reality in my opinion.
Sucky artwork by the way.

I'm hoping to find out the audio specs on this, because the Australian release (and all other current releases to my knowledge) have standard dolby digital 5.1. No HD or uncompressed in sight!
Until it happens i won't be upgrading.

Underrated movie. Too bad it wasn't a huge hit that summer. I prefer the original art. Now it looks like a random DTV movie.
Seriously, why are there so many horrible covers for Blu-rays these days?
It genuinely baffles the mind.

I'd rather Mike and the Bots from MST3K got the money instead.

That made me laugh...but it's not funny since I enjoyed the movie!

Blu-ray - AKA the format with the s**t artwork for old catalogue titles.
Are they serious with that cover?
Besides the horrible cover, this is one of my favourite actions movies in recent years. Much better than The Transformers c**p.

The Island didn't have the best art in the world to begin with, but really? This is an obscenely bland cover.
