Have the DC on VHS, I remember one critic said that it had better effects than Terminator 2....I don't even know how to....of course it doesn't, have you seen the movie? The effects are laughable.
Actually, it is supposed to be Jeff Fahey on the left & Jenny Wright on the right, no pun intended! It is supposed to be a graphic representation of the "cyber-sex" scene from the movie.
So, is that Jeff Fahey on the right and Pierce on the left?
Had another look just now, and the sound is less hissy than it is muddy, so that's slightly better.
You get 10 minutes of deleted scenes, a five minute featurette, the trailer, the animated scenes put together as a montage, and to add insult to injury, these are all widescreen. The image is VHS quality, and an NTSC-PAL conversion to boot.
Lawnmower Man 2's image is also VHS quality, even worse in terms of detail, not least because of the letterbox, than the first film, but it is a film to PAL conversion, for what it's worth.

If there is any truth in what has been stated here, I will be more than a little upset!
Just got some checkdiscs in...
Don't waste your time. It's only bloody pan and scan! 4:3 NTSC VHS quality image, hissy stereo sound, and I couldn't find hide nor hair of the commentary.
Ooh, but better news about Lawnmower Man 2 though. That is letterbox widescreen, although the image quality is the same, and the subtitles are zoom unfriendly.
And Universal wants to me to lock the discs in a safe when I'm not watching them, and to send them back by time travel courier before I actually received them. You know, I think I may just cut and paste this post as my review.

I've never seen the DC (I didn't know it existed) but the theatrical cut is rubbish. It was back when I saw it in 1992 and I doubt it's aged well.
I've still got this on Widescreen VHS. One of the few pre-recorded videos that I bought that actually came with Macrovision installed, so I couldn't transfer it to DVD via my PVR combo thingy.
It is about time! I have the Director's Cut in dreaded fullframe which I got from Scandinavia! Looking forward to getting this!
Fun movie. Interesting choice for cover art.
Nice cover! Shame there's no Blu-ray release.
What....the.... this looks... interesting *googles it*
Blast from the past!! I ain't seen this in years.
