Quote: With parole almost behind him, Ben (Paul Walker) can’t believe how much he has to be thankful for: a beautiful wife, an adorable little girl and a steady paycheck. Life is good. But when he unexpectedly loses his job, Ben foolishly turns back to crime, joining his ex-con brother (Shawn Hatosy) in a robbery with deadly consequences. Suddenly facing a lethal injection, Ben must say goodbye to his family and prepare himself for the worst. But his death sentence isn’t quite what it seems, as Ben regains consciousness near an eerie psychiatric ward, where he’s told he’s been hired as the groundskeeper. With the state of his soul in question, and the love for his wife and daughter all the more real and powerful, Ben must figure out if he’s truly cheated death, or if he’s become part of something far more sinister.

I may rent it, but I doubt it. I tried to watch Paul's last Direct-to-DVD flick, BOBBY Z, and didn't make it very far. I doubt this will be much better.

This was filmed in my city.. my friend was in it.. sad it didn't make it to theaters. It was called "The Heaven Project" when filming as well.
I guess Paul Walker needs to pay his bills since he's really not in demand in A-list features.
I bet he's hoping that Fast and the Furious 4 will rejuvinate his sagging film career.

At least Paul Walker can reference Running Scared if anybody ever asks if he's done anything worth a damn

Agreed! - when I first saw it, I remember thinking "This can't be the same Paul Walker....can it??". As far as I'm concerned, Running Scared should be the only thing on his resume!.....well that, and perhaps Flags of Our Fathers can squeeze in there, too...

Why is he even in Direct 2 DVD movies anyway!?!? I mean he's a very bankable actor, regardless if you think he's a good actor or not. I don't understand. How did he drop his A-list status?? Running Scared was def. his best performance, he should be getting more work after dat....
Running Scared showed me that he could be a believable Captain America....
The plot sounds intriguing and I enjoy 95% of his movies! Bobby Z withstanding, that was just awful!

He's never been an A-list star. More like B-list.

I can't stand Paul Walker and never ever ever call him A-list or B-list. He does not deserve such respect. A random person off the street can act better than him and I swear, if he says "bro" one more time....

Piper Perabo is cute, tough name though.
Loved "Running Scared". It's pretty much the only movie I've liked Paul Walker in. I'll rent this one.
What's the twist? Let me guess... He's actually dead? Actually sounds like a supernatural La Femme Nikita... With a guy.
I need to create a DVD-cover for this movie.
Has anyone an idea where to find more art-work?

wasn't Piper Perabo one of the Charmed chicks? Running Scared was just ok (Spoiler: He should have died at the end). I haven't seen anything else by Walker, this one looks to be just so-so, but the plot is intriguing. (There's a review up at http://www.the-other-view.com/lazarusproject.html)
