I' doubting now, if watched the same movie...
Sorry, I made mistakes and just correct my post. But I still wonder, why this movie has been accepted so cold. BMaybe it's not a masterpiece technically, but emotionally - it's a stunning and unmissible.

But making homophobic statements is what David does best, though he does bring up a good point: Jake hasn't exactly shown much range in his work over the years.

he should have won for Edward Sissorhands
Along with Christian Bale and in my opinion Robert Downey Jr. and Jake Gyllenhaal are other versatile acotrs working today with at times are better then Johnny Depp but he is great actor
Please...Robert Downey Jr. and Jake Gyllenhaal are in no way better than Depp...
Jake is so overrated and have not done enough films to be justified...
Depp is a legend already, Jake is just starting off his career...
Agreed. Jake's been in what, two movies, Jarhead and Brokeback, and in both he played a pussy.
and my personal favourite DONNIE DARKO. He only played a homsexual in Brokeback
Let us not forget "The Good Girl", "Bubbleboy", "Proof", "The Day After Tomorrow", "Moonlight Mile" and "October Sky." And let us not forget David Fincher's upcoming "Zodiac." And way-to-go on the Homophobic comment there, really makes you seem... I don't know... Alabama-ish?

He's been in at least 4, and he plays a bit of a pussy in all of them...
Don't forget Donnie Darko and Day After Tomorrow...
Well, technically 'The Day After Tomorrow' is not really 'a film', it's more like a bad weather forcast programme (just kiddin)...lol

I loved 'Finding Neverland', what a genuinely beautiful film, it's gone into one of my favourite films of all-time, no question about that...
My favourite film of all-time being, Almost Famous...

oh yeah, I agree that ed wood was depp's best role.
Depp sure is a good actor. But what can he do with utter s**t like The Libertine. It was obvious to everyone I sat with in the cinema that he was wrong for the part.
The only man who could play this part convinsingly enough, is Ben Stiller! Nuff said!

The great thing about Johnny Depp is that he can make you sit through a bad movie just because hes in it. A very underrated actor indeed.

Depp's best wasn't Edward Scissorhands, it was Ed Wood!
i haven't seen the movie, but the poster (which wasn't all that great to begin with) was much better.
I didn`t think the film was particularly bad, but I just couldn`t wait for it to end. I thought it was so boring, and I found Johnny Depp`s performance to be rather annoying. The cover art is pretty weak too.
this movie is really great!! johnny is amazing!
So are we ever going to get cover art that doesn't have a bunch of s**t on it?
Depp definitely deserves an oscar. Add him to the long list of actors and actresses who have been screwed by the academy.
How was this one a c**ppy role? This was a highly underrated film imo, and he's excellent in it because he's genuinely repulsive and not his usually lovable quirky guy. Terrible cover art does not mean terrible movie. This was really good and I'm seriously thinking about buying it.

Funny thing about Johnny Depp, he makes succesful roles, than c**ppy ones than succesful roles agains. This movie would be the c**ppy one.
Whats up with the cover. The woman in the back takes your eyes from both Depp and the title of the movie. Its allmost like they pushed her breast right up in your face an said - Hello would you like some pudding while you're waiting!
Oh, the movie is really really bad. I used to love Johnny Depp, but because of his latest movies, including the extremely corny Finding Neverland, I now hate his guts!

Excellent performance by Depp, but didn't like the movie that much. I found the first half tedious and the second half revolting.
The art sucks, though.
