I skipped this movie in theaters because it's one of those movies where you watch on a boring Saturday, with nothing better to do. Now since it's making its home entertainment debut, I'll watch it on a Saturday that month where I'm bored out of my mind.
Although I'm tired of these mindless action films. Okay, a mindless action film once or twice a year is fine. But it seems like almost every month they have one. What happened to the action films like Terminator? Die Hard? Ah well, at least we have Avatar (yeah stone me, I thought it was a masterpiece).

This didnt work for me. It had moments but the film is in love with itself and not involving at all. I never knew why the characters were doing what they were doing. What bugged me the most is the PG-13 rating, what i loved about shoot em up and wanted is that they went for it. They were a heavy R rating and a lot of fun. This one had good intentions but it just bored me. Plus Chris Evans bugs the lif out of me
This was ok. Like the poster above it should have been R. Infact the director said he cut it down to an R. And that an Unrated cut would come out with all the added violence. WHERE IS IT!!!
Am I the only one who is reminded of the cover for Clay Pigeons with this cover?
Might check this movie out at a library or something. Don't need to be such a fanboy on this movie.
I thought this movie was awesome, but I hesitate to buy this since its not the director's cut. Don't want to get burned when that comes out later
Just caught it at the cinema today, really dug it, silly, funny, well made action comedy, not ground breaking, but man, I'm hoping the blu ray looks gorgeous. Wish there was a commentary though.
Chris Evans stole the show. cant wait to pick it up.
I wish they used the animated cover. But atleast they stuck with the other poster.

Boy this went in and out of theatres fast. It never caught my eye as something I had to see in theatres as I'm not a big fan of Jeffrey Dean Morgan. I do like some of the suppporting cast like Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba and Evans.
Went into this not expecting much and came out very pleasantly surprised, lots of fun. Chris Evans owned this movie.
mediocore film. no thank you
"How Zoë Saldana held her own and relished micing with the adrenaline-junkie guy cast"
For a moment, I thought that was a Star Trek 2009 feature, but than I realized that not only did she NOT hold her own in that movie, but she didn't really do anything at all. Kind of sad that her role in this is bigger than that.

It was a pretty terrible movie. Pointless, idiotic, really bad CG on explosions and effects......and even Zoe Saldana wasn't all that attractive. Looked way too skinny.
Great comic series, but if directly translated it would be a very hard R. From what I recall the director said he had a PG-13 in mind all along, which shows a misunderstanding of what made the material special.
I enjoyed this movie. Very entertained by it.
Looking forward to getting this.
Very entertaining! Wasn't expecting much but it was a very fun movie!!!!!!
Oh Boy!!! A sneak peek at Batman: Under the Red Hood.... which comes out a whole week later!!! YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!! I'm totally buying this just for that sneak peek.
Agreed that it was a well-made action/comedy that surpassed low expectations. More than a handful of memorable moments - I saw it twice in theatres for the Journey/Don't Stop Believin' scene alone. Very funny s**t.
I enjoyed this at the theaters,so I will pick this up.
Saw this in the theater with almost no knowledge of the original comic. It was okay for what it was, but nothing truly groundbreaking or monumental. Kinda sensed that it was really toned down and defanged from the original source material. Really forgettable action romp that you'd probably be more inclined to watch on cable, on a lazy weekend afternoon, just for $h!ts and giggles. Might still buy for the special features...
I'm sorry but, gotta say, Chris Evans annoys me in both this and the Fantastic Four movies. Too many corny one-liners from him in this. Really hope they tone down his whole "schtick" when it's time for them to shoot the Cap America movie.
