I agree. When I was younger I thought this and Charlie's Angels had the coolest covers and I would always rent them over and over. I probably spent more on renting them than if I had bought the vhs but I wouldn't buy The Lost Boys on blu. I only have 2 blu ray movies.
same day as part 2.....well that was inevitable lol
Watched this not too long ago, doesn't hold up.
I liked it a lot more when I was 10 years old, Schumacher sucks!

I still like it. One of the better vampire-comedy films around, especially if you grew up in the eighties.
This is the coolest vampire movie ever!Filmed in my hometown too.
The original poster art as cover art,Perfect.
David: Maggots, Michael. You're eating maggots. How do they taste?

Studios, please take note.
That's how you do a Blu-ray disc cover.
Perfect.

Awesome movie, used to watch it religiously as a youngster. I prefer the older cover which was basically just a cold & evil looking Sutherland filling the cover with his head, though the above is damn cool.
Corey Haim looks like he knows it's the last decent film he'll make (just kiddin Corey, Rollerboyz was kick ass.)

Stay tuned for the revised artwork...
Isn't that how it is these days? They never stick with the cover they originally show us.
I have all Schumacher's films and this is one of his best, so i might consider buying this and the sequel on BD.

I never understood all the hype surrounding this movie. It bored me stiffless. Needless to say, I won't be buying. I have it somewhere in the video cabinet, anyway...

would you have a link or something to that cover? because i've never seen or even heard of it but it sounds cool. the above photo has always been the cover on all dvd and vhs releases over here so i am curious.

Thank you, Warner. The thought of having the sequel released on BD before the original was, well, disconcerting. Now for an "Interview with the Vampire" BD release with DTS-HDMA!
still no INXS video it seems.
