Artwork doesn't sell this at all, looks like a DTV flick.
Loved this movie. That artwork does look like a DTV release though. I'm surprised that Sony/MGM went cheap on this release since it's practically barebones. Frankly I would not be surprised if we get a DTV release "The Mechanic 2" from Sony's Stage 6 films in the next 6 months- 1 year.

Have y'all noticed with a LOT of movies lately they do DTV when the first one was pretty good and did decent enough in theaters? Drives me nuts. They did it with blue crush and mean girls and a few others. I know those 2 aren't classics but they deserve better than DTV sequels.
The sequels are DTV when the originals are released in theaters

Worst. Cover Art. Ever.
Yikes!
Yikes!
The theatrical poster for this was borderline iconic with the gun being made up of other guns. I don't understand why they always change it to a terrible cover for the DVD.
Woof!
First day rental for me. I need a Jason Statham fix after my disappointment with "The Expendables," especially after reading and hearing how good this one is.

I agree on the artwork.
But I am curious, it's on my list.
I'm still hoping there will be a "Crank 3".

Drew Struzan should do all DVD artwork! lets campaign!
Should have gone with the poster art.
I agree they should have went with the poster. You don't always need to put the star on the cover to sell the DVD and Blu-ray.
one of statham's best. statham still proves that he's the worlds greatest action star working today. so since im a big fan of his, i dont have to tell u what's next.
