Universal Home Video has sent over artwork for the third season of The Office which stars Steve Carrell. The four-disc package will be available to own from the 4th September, and should retail at around $49.98. Each of the 22 episodes will be presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include audio commentaries on selected episodes (full details in the comments section below), deleted scenes, a Dwight Schrute music video, excerpts From the 2006 NBC Primetime Preview hosted by "The Office" Cast, videos From The Office "Make Your Own Promo" contest, an excerpt from the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, a Lazy Scranton Video, a blooper reel, and more. We've attached our first look at the official region one package artwork below:

I might get this one. I need to get hooked on the Office. I don't like the bottom subtitle though.

Such a great show... such a bad cover.
I wish they would have fit in some of the funnier "background" characters like Stanley, Phyllis or the scene stealing Angela.

The Office is a good show, but I don't think it's as great as a lot of people make it out to be. I actually like My Name Is Earl better.

great show "thats what she said" would have bought this but i bought it cheaper of of itunes this and heros had the best finales for any seasons that i watched this year and i cant wait for the 4th any word on when thats gonna be

I don't understand it either. I definitely think it's best to go out on top but two series! Come on Ricky the show easily had enough for a third series.

The recent "Life on Mars" show only got two series too, despite being incredibly popular and it had very good writing too.

I half agree with you. I don't think they will milk The Office. But that is not to say that they can't. Friends (something I never liked) did drag for some time. Even to some degree The Simpsons have dragged, but the show changed a number of years ago.

I never actually understood why British shows have such short runs...although I do like the "go out on top" mentality that Ricky Gervais has.

One other thing...the Prison Mike bit had to be one of the funniest bits on the show so far. Not to say there aren't many other awesome moments, that one to me was by far the best.

Missed most of the entire season, will be picking this up on the Tuesday regardless!!! Carrell looks very funny with that bandana, by the way.

I can't believe how badly shopped all the covers for this show are.

There were a lot of great episodes this year. Still the best comedy on television at the moment.

It's managed to find it's own style and it's even better for not trying to copy the original series.

Ahhh, what a brilliantly written show. Pam and Jim's gags on Dwight are worth the watch alone. If you haven't seen this show, you don't know what you are missing. This is a definite buy for me for the blooper reel and deleted scenes.
