Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced a Blu-ray release of The Others for September 20th. Retail will be around $14.99. Extrsa will include A Look Inside The Others documentary, a Visual effects featurette, a “Xeroderma Pigmentosum: What Is It? featurette, An Intimate Look at Director Alejandro Amenábar featurette, and the theatrical trailer. Artwork is attached:

Quote: While waiting for her husband to return from the Second World War, Grace Stewart (Kidman) retires with her photosensitive children to a mansion. The children have a disease in which they cannot be touched by direct sunlight without being hurt in some way. They live alone there with oppressive, strange and almost religious rules, until Grace needs to hire a group of servants for them. After the servants enter the home, strange events start to occur, and Grace begins to wonder if it's her sanity getting the better of her or if there is something in the house with them.

Excitebike. This movie plus lossless audio would be awesome. Let's hope that this doesn't turn out to be one of the BDs that's released without it for whatever reason.
Haven't seen this film in awhile and don't already own it. When the price drops to around $5-10, then I'll think of snagging this one.
Always thoroughly enjoyed this one. I'll buy it, and I hope to see more of Amenebar's work make it to blu-ray.
Great movie, but my DVD will suffice.
