Sweeping battle scenes, breathtaking wilderness vistas and touching moments of personal triumphs combine to ensure The Postman delivers.

Waterworld is a debacle.
Waterworld rocks!!
This movie was a joke at my old job.....I still haven't seen it. Waterworld rules! I want a Blu-ray of THAT!
Second only to Waterworld and No Way Out, The Postman is one of my favorite Kevin Costner movies. Day one purchase for me.
Never seen this
Our only hope is a mailman...Because he works for a central government...to save us all... Horrible movie.
Waterworld is horrible too. Just another Hollywood paint by numbers movie that brings nothing new to the table. Props to the stunt doubles though.
Best Costner movies: JFK, Robin Hood, Dances with Wolves, Field of Dreams, Open Range, The Untouchables and I will even give him Wyett Earp because I am in a good mood. Otherwise can't stand him.

"You want a war i'll give you a war postman"
I enjoyed this movie.
Radio Times gave it 1 star, and Waterworld 4 stars. Makes you wonder.

Back cover added...
Is it just me, or is Olivia Williams just absolutely hot on the cover?
I'll be picking this up. Bad movie to be sure, but there's a certain appeal to a major debacle like this. I recently traded in my DVD at FYE for cash since I was shocked to discover how ancient the transfer looked. It looked like a VHS print... hard to believe ten years ago that disc was considered reference.
Not as good as the original Il Postino in my view
The best thing about this film was Tom Petty playing a thinly veiled Tom Petty, Mayor of Bridge City. Best. Cameo. EVER!...Can you imagine the Town Hall meetings? "All those in favor, say 'Aye'....Alright, motion passed...now everyone, toke up!!"...
Have to say this, and Waterworld are two of my guilty pleasure movies. Never picked this up on DVD due to poor amount of extras so unless the PQ on this is incredible I very much doubt I'll be picking it up at that price.
