kinda odd...
Im not against getting a new edition of something long as it was a grossly inferior release, out only once before and a while back.
This however is weird, its very much a little girl movie, yet this version looks aimed at collectors and other adults. I somehow doubt an 8 year old will care about audio commentaries or deleted scenes.

The film has done very well around the world - many have seen the film.
Also, the books are a popular series, so it's for the fans.
I quite enjoyed it, and will see the second one.

I'm looking forward to this one as well as the second one.
Will definitely pick it up.

Bleck
Could they airbrush the two 'actresses' on the cover anymore? They look like somebody sprayed them with bleach !
Special Editions
I probably will be buying this, especially since they're making a sequel.
Well, speaking of Special Editions Masterpieces or w.e., Has anyone heard any info on Pocahontas, Lilo and Stitch or Mary Poppins? It was advertised in the Alice and Wonderland DVD.

eghhh....I can understand airbrushing ancient Julie Andrews, but why did they airbrush Anne Hathaway? Isnt she 22? plus she has beautiful skin, what gives? hehehe

Why is that a reason to buy this?

Uh huh.... she should take on the role of Wonder Woman if such a part was offered to her.

Wonder Woman, no way. She's too young for that. I'm still hoping that Sandra Bullock is cast for the role for the movie that should be filming soon. I heard she's the frontrunner, and the best. Anne Hathaway is pretty too. Typical of the studios to double dip without letting us know in advance. When will they ever learn that the first one should be done properly and not rushed through. That way, you can save money on production costs and shelf space in video stores.
By the way, Has anyone heard about a special edition of "Maid In Manhattan". I would like to see any making of, plus the Norah Jones video clips, and deleted scenes, clearly seen in the trailer.

Commentary?
Hey, when I checked the DVD in stores, they didn't mention any commentaries on the back of the package? Have these features been excluded? does anyone know?
