Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the Special Edition of The Remains of the Day and Sense and Sensibility as a double feature, two-disc release for 1st June. Adapted from Kazuo Ishiguro's Booker award winning novel, and brought to the screen by Merchant Ivory, The Remains of the Day stars: Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Reeve, Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, James Fox and Peter Vaughan. While Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility is directed by Ang Lee with screenplay by Emma Thompson and stars: Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Hugh Grant and Alan Rickman. They'll be using demographics to decide between DVD and Blu-ray, so your typical audience for these films probably isn't interested in HD.

Have you actually seen these films, Hedkickboy? I can't speak for "Sense and Sensibility", but "Remains of the Day" is a pitch perfect period drama.
Stop these hideous double features. Stop them, I say.
Seen both and they were sloooooow. Not necessarily bad, but by no means uptempo.
