I was very impressed with this show, but in all honesty, I don't think I would have kept tuning in if it weren't for Summer Glau! She damn near makes the series.

This was a really good series. I get so annoyed with all the hardcore Terminator fans blasting the show and criticizing the timeline issues. I thought the show was fun, action packed and I think Lena Headey did a tremendous job playing Sarah.
I'm glad that FOX ordered a season 2. Monday's on FOX with this and Prison Break should be fun.

I really enjoyed the show as well and I really like the cover art. However, I'm not sure if I will buy it or not.
I didn't like that in the first episode, Cameron (Glau) was totally normal, then after that, she had no effing idea how to act human... that was very poorly done. And the finale was just... disappointing.
Overall, though, it delivered on its premise well enough to merit an eventual purchase. Artwork is OK; I prefer the poster I designed for that contest, that'd look much cooler, I think.

You can thank the writers' strike for the finale as that episode wasn't supposed to be the finale, there were meant to be more episodes in this season.

This show started out with a lot of promise and quickly went downhill with a serious of boring, melodramatic episodes. Sarah blows something up at the end of every episode in hopes of preventing judgment day and John Conner always whines about his responsibility.

as for the show, i liked it a lot. i knew being a tv series that there would be tinkering with the movie timeline so that stuff didnt really bother me. i did find it sorta cheesy that they had to go forward in time to today but hey, thats tv for ya. lol
i wanna buy this but these days "full series" box sets are the rage and i rather wait for a full set. know i'm crazy cuz if it lastes 6-8yrs..thats a long wait. but i ended up buying that Buffy box set despite owning all 7 seasons and that was pretty dumb so i wanna avoid that.
aaaanyway...yeah the show was definately cool, they're still living off the movie coat tails but i can totally see this season start to create its own world and be its own entity sorta apart from the movies but not completely.

Even though I loved the show and will have a PS3 June 12th (for MGS4, naturally), I just can't see picking this up on Blu-Ray...the special effects were dreadful throughout most of the show, and there's really nothing extraordinary that would warrant the desire for a Blu-Ray experience...if it is the same price as the DVD set (or within $5-$10) during its week of release, I'll consider it...but I really hate seeing so many films in Blu-Ray that HD does absolutely nothing for...a film like Casino, American Beauty, Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, etc. have nothing about them that warrants an upgrade to a Blu-Ray version (I know I listed a lot of Scorsese there...but hopefully people get the point). However, films like Terminator 2, Transformers, V for Vendetta, and Batman Begins are examples of films that would be worth the jump...
Just glad that says Complete First Season and not Complete Series. It'll be interesting to see how a FULL season will pan out.
i like the pilot and the 2nd espiode after brian austin green was on there the ratings sunk quicker than the titanic in 1912...i think this show will get canned next fall
Also kudos to wolfarcher's cover, although I never liked the shot of Headey squatting with the shotgun, in smaller pics at first glance it looks like she's strumming a guitar. Ah, well. Decent series, I'll be picking it up in Blu.

Hmmm, I'm surprised at some of the negative commennts here. This show was pretty popular on the TrekBBS forum that I'm also a member of.
As far as the timeline goes, it was established that this show pretty much ignores the events of T3. But it does allude to the death of Sarah from leukemia, which does follow one of the plots from T3, but then that's why they jump forward in time in the show. They jump past the date in which she would have normally died.

The Blu-ray version is priced $10 more than the DVD version, but Amazon is selling it for only $9 more.
I already pre-ordered it as it was a no-thinker for me. I watched it in HD on TV so going back to SD for the DVD would have sucked... plus, I'm spoiled on Blu-ray. Now, DVD's generally look like c**p!!

Unfortunately the blu-ray price in the UK is roughly double that of the DVD version.
I believe that some people are misguided over what HD should be used for. It shouldn't be used just for films with CGI effects. Dramas like American Beauty are beautifully photographed, HD will make these films look magnificent.

Sorry, but there's only 1 Sarah Connor...Ms. Linda Hamilton. I never bought the chick playing Sarah in the show. She's not enough of a badass. At least in T2 we can understand why Sarah is so dead-set against stopping Judgement Day because of the recurring dreams she has.

Just nine episodes in the can before the writers strike stopped this series dead in its tracks. With that in mind they better load this release with worthwhile extras otherwise the 720p downloads that I've got on my HTPC will suffice as nine episodes hardly constitutes a complete series.

This show was okay, I did watch all the episodes. (I was always a Terminator fan.) Won't buy it though, not worth watching twice.
I loved this show. Cameron was hot. Don't know if I ill buy it. If its at that rediculious price for blu-ray then i may pass as i would probably buy the blu-ray.
