July 1st marks the release of The Shawshank Redemption – 10th Anniversary Memorial Box, a strictly limited Japanese release. The film will be presented in an anamorphic widescreen format with English and Japanese audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital 2.0 respectively. A staggering 160min worth of supplementary materials will be provided, including a making of featurette, documentary, audio commentary, trailers and more. Bonus goodies include a book “Golden Boy” – a collection of short stories by Stephen King, movie book (approximately 100 pages with Japanese translations), a leather-made book cover (pocket edition size) and three postcards.
