Paramount Home Entertainment has announced both 1-disc ($29.99) and 2-disc ($34.99) special editions of The Spiderwick Chronicles, which stars Freddie Highmore, Sarah Bolger, David Strathairn, and Mary-Louise Parker. Each will carry an anamorphic widescreen presentation and English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. The extra material has yet to be revealed for either release I'm afraid, but we'll bring you further details shortly. A Blu-ray release has also been announced, for which details can be found below.
