Quote: In true Jackie Chan fashion, The Spy Next Door delivers incredible stunts, fast action suspense and hearty family entertainment. When Bob Ho is called to babysit his neighbor’s unruly children, they accidentally blow his cover as a spy by downloading secret codes on his computer. Suddenly Bob has to kick into super agent mode and take the kids on an action-packed adventure that turns suburbia upside down. Bob fights off assassins and arch villains, narrowly escapes traps and outsmarts double-agents while somehow managing to keep the kids out of harm’s way. The film is “High-flying family fun” (movieweb.com) and “Zany action for the whole family” (nycmovieguru.com).

Glad the Digital Copy fad is starting to wear off, but I'll be damned if anyone wants a copy of this - let alone on two formats.

*vomits again* DEAR GOD!!!! Is Lionsgate trying to kill me this morning with these horrible announcements. I mean, I'll buy "Daybreakers" despite the cover art but THIS!? I would rather sit on the toilet for 2 hours reading a Hannah Montana novelization than watch this. I'm all for giving even the worst of movies a shot, but I would bleed from all orifices during this.
I'm appalled by that cover, never mind the c**p film.
Is it bad? Yes. Is it as bad as The Tooth Fairy? No
Did you guys actually watch this? I mean, the title and cast alone should've been warning enough - even if you were just taking the kids.

In all honesty, I watched a little bit of both at my work and I chuckled at the Tooth Fairy (mostly the pre-or during credits hockey sequence) and grimaced at Jackie Chan for "The Spy Next Door". Kinda makes you wonder if Bruce Lee was still alive would he be making kids movies too?

Bad artwork. Horrible casting. Formulaic plot. What's the point in seeing this film?
I thought this was okay for a KIDS' movie. Favorite thing was the pig honestly. It needed more screen time.
DVD copy? Interesting movie for lionsgate.
What ever happened to Jackie?!?! So sad to see he makes c**p like this!
I believe Jackie has mentioned that he's a fan of doing family films. However, unless it's a Rush Hour movie or a Shanghai (something) movie with a big name co-star, he's not going to be a big box office draw in the U.S. solo anymore. Plus, Jackie is 56 years old now.
Boy what a joke?
